We have two log cabins of the same basic style and layout. Large Jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, wood fireplace, cable TV with DVD. All towels and linens are included in this clean, comfortable and well maintained cabin. The double bed is a comfy futon in front of the fireplace. Web access.
Other things to note
We will be glad to exchange towels and linen as needed. You will find a laundry bag in the bathroom, just put what you've used in that and leave it at the office door. We will make fresh ones appear at your door. We do not enter your cabin unless smoke or water is coming out of it.
Please leave the cabin much as you found it. We will take care of the linens and towels. Please do not allow pets to damage or soil the cabin or it's contents. Same goes for children and adults.
There is a dumpster for your trash. Please be considerate of others in the area, including parking as there is ample parking, but room must be left for others to turn around. Do not drive across the neighbors property.
Pets are welcome here, a pet fee of $20.00 is due. This covers your entire stay and all pets traveling with you.
We ask that you do not smoke inside the cabin.
Extra firewood is available, do not adjust the fireplace flue, it will only cause grief.
Check out time is 11am.
Actually, WE are Gary and Connie.
Retired from the real world. We have 2 cabins that we rent nightly, very near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoying the beauty of Tennessee.
We both enjoy music (Connie is singer/songwriter of some local notoriety), she also is a chef and baker (also locally famous. We both love to explore this beautiful area, other areas too.
Both of us gather unneeded items. I have taken to collecting antique woodworking hand tools. Out of room, so tool collecting is slowing down. Never know what Connie may bring home next.
I renewed my passion for photography, joined the Townsend Artisan Guild and spend way too much time doing this.
We both love to be out in natures beauty.
I am a reformed Yankee who had the good fortune to meet a woman living up in Michigan, although she was born in Townsend. We finally brought her back home more than twenty years ago. Best move we ever made. We have raised 5 grown sons with varying results. Our oldest is an award winning chef with his own restaurant in Saugatuck Michigan. Our youngest is a Marine, stationed in California for the moment. The 3 guys in the middle live in Townsend and has each provided us with one of the world's finest grand kids. Two cousins (a boy and a girl) are under 3 and are just a few months apart age wise. The other is a lovely 17 year old. We are blessed with family and also to live in East Tennessee.
