The additional nights accommodation was offered to the guest as there was one night open in the calendar. Zero pressure was applied to this offer, it simply made good business sense and a great discounted rate to the person should they have wished to take it. The booking was made by Mr Tran and paid for based on a two person occupancy. The booking process clearly states the property is subject to additional charges per person, per night if the occupancy exceeds two people. The booked was made for two people. After receiving a message from the Building Manger that the room was being used by more than 2 people I visited the room to ascertain if this was correct or not. After three attempts at knocking on the door, to which nobody answered, I accessed the room and immediately called out to see if anyone was home. One lady approached the door and after introducing myself, I asked if everything was fine as I was the owner and I also asked her how many people were occupying the room. She replied that 2 people were staying in the room, her and her boyfriend and that he was on the mountain at the time of my visit. I accepted her on her word and bid her farewell. All of this was done in the presence of two witnesses. Coincidentally, as I waited for the elevator to leave the building, a lady exited the elevator and started to enter the room. I asked her if she was staying in the room and she confirmed she was and that there were a total of 4 occupants in the room. As the door opened, I asked the lady who had previously greeted me why she had lied to me and said that only 2 people were occupying the room. She was unable to answer. This second conversation took place at the door and NOT in the room. The additional charges requested were in line with what would have been charged had the booking been made honestly, instead of someone booking a room for two people when every intention was for four people to stay in the room during MLK weekend, a very busy, party weekend. Unfortunately this happens from time to time with dishonest people and I try stop this as the owner. The charges relating to parking are well below the standard rates in the resort and as for the comment about tax, I suggest the booker takes that matter with with the Province of British Columbia.

Great place in an unbeatable location. Alan (host) was not in town, but called us to make sure everything was satisfactory, which was really nice. The rentals, ski storage, lift tickets and gondola are all right there-super convenient not to have to lug ski equipment a long way! …
