Our home is a five-minute drive from the city centre - 30 minutes walk; we are close to public transport (bus Mon-Fri close to the house), or a 5 minute walk to a major bus stop (7-day service). We have a friendly old cat, Bilbo, who loves guests (he's not permitted in the guest rooms, though). We are very close to Wellington Hospitals (Public, Wakefield and Southern Cross), Massey University, Te Whaea National Dance and Drama School, Basin Reserve, Newtown shopping (including large supermarkets), local cinemas (Brooklyn and Island Bay). We live in a quiet neighbourhood with trees and native birds in abundance. Our check-in time and check-out time is a general guide to guests, however, we can be flexible around these time if prior notice is given.

We are surrounded by the town-belt, so plenty of trees and public walkways (the City-to-Sea Walkway runs just below our home). Rugby League Park (home of the Wellington Hurricanes rugby team and All-Blacks training ground) is five minutes walk down the road.
