Booked Lisa and Nigel's house with a couple of friends for celebrating New Year's Eve in Byron Bay. The house is big, and with 4BR 2Bath can easily sleep the 8 guests as advertised. It has some usual quirks typically found in an old house. The location of the house is on a country road, featuring beautiful scenery and a large yard. If you're looking to get to Byron Bay, driving is recommended. Depending on traffic it can take you anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes. An Uber will set you back around $15, and if there are none for the return trip, the walk will take you a little more than an hour. There is also a bus and taxi service which we never tried. On the last day of our stay the pump supplying fresh water to the house failed. Lisa and Nigel were easy to reach and were forthcoming in offering alternative solutions which we deemed acceptable. All in all, a nice place to chill and relax while also giving you the opportunity to explore the area.

Response from Lisa:
Paul and guests were great and dealt with the unexpected break down of the water pump extremely well.
