The space

This cozy vintage basement space has a queen bed, kitchenette, and private bath with shower— near great dining/shopping districts and a block from a park, bus line. Enjoy the eclectic decor of two artists/collectors with a great love of Portland.

This is a basement space with queen-size bed, a private bath with shower, kitchenette (microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker), a large sink for dishes and TV (Netflix, no cable TV). There is shared access to the laundry area and its washer/dryer.

There is also an adjoining living area we occasionally use for crafts and as a playroom for our seven year old. There is a large desk available for working, or bring the grandkids to play if you like.

You can use the back porch overlooking the garden and Mt. Tabor, and share the grill with us.

Interaction can be as much or as little as you like, schedule allowing. We will gladly provide tips on shopping, eating or exploring the city.

You're close to both Division and Hawthorne shops and world famous restaurants (PokPok!). We are also only ten blocks from the emerging Jade District, with lots of exotic asian food options. Two blocks from Mt. Tabor park— a dormant volcano and one of the largest urban parks in the NW.

30 minutes from downtown via driving, bike or bus, and 15 to the airport driving. One block from the Division St. bus line straight to downtown, and twelve blocks from the MAX train line for trips to the airport or almost any other parts of town. Very bike friendly area, (website hidden). Hood's Timberline Lodge and the Columbia River Gorge with its beautiful waterfalls and hikes are quick day trip destinations you should look into while you're here. Very easy to get to from our place.

Terie & Aaron's was a nice place to stay, provided that you're okay with a couple of creepy dolls lol. But they might have just been spooky because we watched scary movies on the provided roku stick! The shower had great water pressure and the space was quiet.

Fantastic space, probably the coolest decor of any Airbnb we've been in. Aaron & Terie were fantastic hosts, always available and full of incredibly helpful recommendations and advice. Great location, with the number 4 bus connecting you to anywhere you need to be. Right by the amazing Division district, which is a foodie's dream. Pok Pok and the Bollywood Theater are both nearby and both superb. Awesome place, would definitely stay again.
