Compare this, you can have the whole house for yourselves not just a single room! 2-story condo, 15 mins fr downtown, accessible to jeepneys (P11 fare=US 0.25 cents) & taxi (P100 fr Session Rd=$2 US), where you can feel the morning fog, cold weather & the scent of pine trees. Master BR, 1 small BR with mattress, living room, small deck, kitchen, 2 BR, hot/cold showers, stainless steel water tank, street parking but guarded (security guard is 24/7), CCTV & a small sari-sari store on site.

The space

If you have a Grab App, make sure to use it to call for a cab/taxi. It is better to give an hour ahead of time. The climb of the hill is very steep to get a cab in front of the condo. I call it a forced exercise though. There is a telephone booth below the condo to ask the guard to get you a taxi.

Guest access

You can access anything in the condo except those locked cabinets. The maintenance/caretaker has access to this.
The back door can be accessed- to get the cleaning materials- dust pan, mops, brooms, etc. There is a sari-sari store uphill and buy your own cooking supplies like cooking oil and spices, etc. When booking the condo for more than three days with family, make sure to bring your own rice (there is a rice cooker), coffee, sugar, coffee creamer, eggs, dish soap and paper towels.

Please do not make noises after 10 pm. This is a residential housing condo and we have neighbors who are working.

Make sure to turn off water/electricity when not in use. At night, make sure to turn on the gauge for the water tank to supply water. Water supply in Baguio is scheduled every night. The water supply at daytime is from the water tank so make sure to re-fill the water tank.

The place is generally okay. Clean and relaxing environment, great host and caretaker. what you see in the pictures in technically what you will get. Though I think you just have to take note of the "steep" description of the roads inside the village. Man, it's really steep. And you will have to park at side street, at a curved angle. Water supply is on/off. Though I think they can work on it through the water tank, however it's empty during our stay. But I'll still give pretty good stars for the entire stay. We still had an enjoyable stay.

Response from Josephine:
The water supply in Baguio is scheduled ever since I lived there in the early 80s. That is why we buy big water tanks. I have one which is in a tower next to the back of the condo. I should make note to the next guests to turn on the water regulator outside the apartment to refill the water tank everyday. It is in my guests notation on Airbnb. My caretaker fills it up before any guests come in. So, if you there were four guests who took long showers, the water level goes down in the tank and it has to be refilled at night by just turning on the water gauge outside the condo. I never have problem with water when I was there neither the previous guests from Hawaii. The water tank is brand new, stainless steel that I bought last year August 2016. The water heater is also brand new. There are instructions of the water heater- in the shower is on top of the shower head facing you when you are taking a shower. It should be working fine.

Like you, I like to go places but I wanted to stay in a play where I can feel safe and secure but at the same time have the comforts and feel of my home. I bought this condo 10 years ago and it is just sitting here and would like to share with guests. This is my vacation home…
