Marjolein's place was such a great place to stay that we wished we had more time there. The location with water surrounding the boundaries was a peaceful outlook and so close to the supermarket, shops, and the tram that will take you into the heart of the city. The rooms hade a real 'home' feel to them and were clean, comfortable and overall a good size for 3 adults. We loved that Marjolein provided an abundance of books and brochures of Amsterdam in multiple languages as well as many floor plans of museums - extremely helpful. A highlight was their recommendation of a Greek restaurant nearby where the staff were attentive, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We hope to return to Amsterdam again in the near future and Marjolein's place would be our first choice, a place we would happily recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again. Marjolein is so thoughtful and everything was so well prepared for our families stay. The home is charming. The location was great. The parking was the best we have had on whole two month tour of Europe. Transportation was simple into the center. We loved staying here!

I highly recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam to stay here. Communication was great, the place is large, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. Extremely close to a supermarket with everything you need as well as the tram to get you into the heart of Amsterdam. Thank you Marjolein!

If you want to visit Amsterdam but also want to get away from the crowds and the noise, then this is the ideal location for you. My husband, 17-year-old son, and I loved staying in this home, surrounded by a mini-canal that attracted ducks and herons. For a few nights a friend of mine from Germany also stayed with us. Although the home was a bit small for four people, it was perfect for three individuals. Short walks bring you to a windmill, to the charming village of Sloten, and to green areas and lakes where you can relax and have a picnic dinner. Marjolein was the perfect host -- she responded to our questions promptly, but also gave us all the privacy we wanted. I highly recommend this home!
