We loved staying here and will definitely want to come back. It is located in such a great place with the river right behind the cabin. Although it rained the whole day we were there, we didn't mind at all as we spent the day reading and relaxing on the beautiful porch swings on the back porch overlooking the river. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed. This was the most peaceful and restful vacation we've had for a long time!

The cabin is very cozy and clean. It was wonderful to sit on the back porch in the swing and listen to the Little River. The views out the front and back of the cabin were awesome.

The cabin is in a beautiful spot. Our family enjoyed the swings on the porch and the creek very much. It's located just far enough away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that it doesn't feel like you are staying in a super touristy area. We loved that! We will definitely stay again and will recommend to friends and family who want to visit that area!

We stayed at the cabin during the week of the total solar eclipse, viewing the event from the front yard. Cabin was perfect for our stay and needs. In particular - the front and rear porches to relax in, the accessible and beautiful Little River that flows in the backyard, the comfortable beds, wood decor and cabin ambience, and the peaceful sound of the river. You can walk to an Ace HW store, or bike to the IGA grocery. Townsend is a nice, quiet place to vacation in the Smokies. People and genuine and friendly, Only issue for us was the absence of WIFI, in retrospect it was good to take break from and unwind from "connectedness". Tommy is quick to reply and reach by phone, A stay at this cabin is HIGHLY Recommended for a family vacation.

Semi-retired auto dealer. We have owned this cabin for 13 years and have been coming to this area for over 50 years. Townsend, Tennessee is the last un-spoiled gateway to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Townsend area is still an uncrowded, quiet small town with great people and mom & pop eateries and businesses.
