Authentic horse stable transformed into charming cottage is situated in beautiful village with medieval bridge over the Auvézère river.
The cottage is part of 17C old manor house. Many villages, caves, ruins & musea to visit in the neighbourhood.

The space

The cottage is situated in the courtyard next to the garden of the property.
There is everywhere outdoor furniture and also a barbecue, so that you can cook and eat outside or just simply relax with a glass,of red wine in the lazy chairs under the masjestic and century old trees.

Guest access

I will give the keys of the cottage by arrival and ask you to treat the cottage as if it is yours and lock it when you go out.

Interaction with guests

I live myself on the property, so I am always available.

Other things to note

The Dordogne is world famous for its history, culture, wonderful food and wines.
The cottage is at a distance of 200meter from the river with beach and some shops like grocery, bar, bakery and only at 18 km from Périgueux, the capital of the Dordogne where you find all sort of shops, loads of culture and a very beautiful and historical center of town.

From first moment we met Gerda, we were made most welcome especially with the very nice bottle of Rose :-). The cottage itself is an absolute gem, beautifully renovated and keeping the spirit of what it was previously used for. Inside, was nicely furnished with a very stylish upper bedroom/ bathroom open plan area with great shower. Only, very small, downside for us, is that since it's a shared area outside, it became quite noisy with other large groups staying at the same time. However, this is a very small point that would not stop us rebooking in the future.

Vanuit Cubjac deden we verschillende mooie uitstappen !
