There is access to a washer and dryer in the main house and an iron and table top ironing board in your room.

The private guest house has it's own entrance and was built as a separate addition onto the front of the house. I enjoy meeting my guests and I'm available for any questions you may have.

Alisa's property is more than I could have imagined out of a stay. She sets a new standard when it comes to Airbnb hosting. Reading through the guide, I learned that at the beginning of her airbnb endeavor, Alisa had stayed in her own property for a while to ensure that everything that would be required for a pleasant stay was provided. There are very nice touches that I have yet to see from any other host. She kindly had a variety of snack offerings, and basic breakfast items for us, fresh bagels and bananas. She also kindly provided us with champagne as it was our honeymoon! The property was immaculately clean. It was obvious that she does all the cleaning herself. The bed is incredibly comfortable. There is a TV with a wide selection of viewing options. Location was phenomenal Close to the beach by car. I would highly suggest that anyone coming to this location (and LA in general) rent a car! Thank you Alisa. You are such a pleasant and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back :)

I knew from the reviews and the photographs that Alisa's place was lovely and clean, but I wasn't prepared for how special it really was. I was/am on a strenuous book tour and needed to stay in a quiet and relaxing place. Alisa's sweet and spacious studio is much more than that. We arrived after dark and Alisa led us through a magical arched gate draped with flowering vines, and glowing with tiny lights. The cozy courtyard outside the studio has a bubbling fish pond and Alisa charmingly introduced us to the residents who popped their heads up to say hello in the moonlight. Alisa showed us around and from the first moment we walked through the door, I knew we were in a place that was run with extreme care and professionalism. It was spotless, elegant, peaceful, and beautifully appointed. The bed was comfortable, the space was airy and open, and there was not one thing lacking in the entire place. Alisa has thought of everything, from those little things you forget, like toothbrushes and Q-tips to the things you don't really need but are so nice to have, like soft, comfy robes and little chocolates. Really, I've paid much more money to stay in hotels that weren't up to this standard. Alisa is also a lovely hostess---warm and welcoming, and very helpful, but never invasive. The whole experience was fantastic. It's an incredibly well-run airbnb with a touch of romance. I would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat!

Alisa was the absolute best, loveliest, nicest, kindest host. The house was perfect - a beautiful, calm little oasis full of charming little personal touches and stocked with everything you might possibly need - and we really do mean everything. Delicious muffins and tea for breakfast after a long flight. Drawers full of kitchen utensils. Interesting books and information about the city. Board games. Beach equipment including a cooler, and a dustpan and brush should you find that you brought back a lot of sand (like we did, that stuff gets everywhere!). Blankets, towels, cozy snuggly bathrobes, qtips, a beautiful little jar full of perfume samples... whatever we could think of, it was there, and whatever we could not think of was there too, and all of it was beautifully presented/stored/packaged/decorated. Even feminine hygiene bags were provided - stored in a lovely little box that looks like a book. Who thinks of something like that? Well, Alisa does! She's just amazing and a joy to meet and have a little chat with by the little fish pond while you're sipping your morning tea... it's obvious that she loves being a host and really wants her guests to feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. We really can't thank her and recommend her enough. Think of her as the Fairy Godmother of Airbnb - except there's not time limit on the magic she provides :) Thank you again Alisa, we really couldn't have had a better time Martina & Ambrogio

We stayed here for a few nights on our honeymoon and it was truly relaxing and peaceful. Alisa is an amazing host and the house is perfect for a couple. Great amenities included. We were sad we didn't get to spend more time with Alisa but she was willing to offer up any tips we needed and made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

I am a native of Los Angeles and have lived in this home for most of my life. I enjoy meeting new people, and love being an Airbnb host. We used Airbnb when my family travelled to Europe and really enjoyed it. We wanted to immerse ourselves more directly into the culture of each country we visited and found this to be a very fun, different and educational way to travel! I have two young adult sons. One now lives out of state and the other is a student and living at USC in downtown L.A.

I "stayed" in my guest house in order to determine what, if anything, would be needed. I have been fortunate to have stayed in luxury hotels and I appreciate the extra little details, and so I have thoughtfully accommodated the room with many extras. Basically, all of the things that I would appreciate having if I was staying somewhere!
