Very clean, easy check-in, exactly as described. Nice place for a fair price. Host was very welcoming!

Very nice owner ... friendly, helpful, accommodating. Older home, but very neat and clean. Had some problems with lights and fans, but discovered it was likely because of a storm that moved through earlier in the week and power being off for a while. We would stay again ... it wasn't The Ritz, but we didn't expect it to be ... it was quite comfortable ... very homey.

Wendy greeted us and told us about the house, answered our questions and left a set of great suggestions on what to do in the area. The place is neat and clean with every thing you need. The bedrooms are upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs. A minor inconvenience for us. The stairs to the bedroom are steep. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We really enjoyed our stay. I am sure you will also.

So much to do in Prairie du Chien and across the bridge in Iowa, and this home was a perfect location for us. You are so close to the historic downtown that you can walk - and everyone downtown was so nice and friendly. You will hear trains on occasion, but they didn't disturb us during sleeping hours. Wendy is more than willing to help out in any way. Enjoy!

Wendy and her husband Charlie were both very welcoming of us into their home this weekend. We sat together and chatted for a while before they left for the weekend and it felt like being at home! We enjoyed being able to cook, have enough space to move around depending on if we wanted to read or watch a movie. The house is very cozy and well taken care of, a place full of love! We are so thankful for our time we got to spend sharing the space while we were on our vacation.

My husband and I have lived in Prairie du Chien all our lives. We previously owned a log cabin rental in the country. We love the hospitality industry as I managed 2 hotels in the area for many years.
We spend a lot of time, traveling to see our grandchildren. Our home is quite often vacant. So we decided to open our home to strangers, who will hopefully become lifelong acquaintances.
Prairie du Chien is a beautiful area with it's small town charm. Our hope is that our home will be a quiet respite.. minus the hustle and bustle, this life sometimes brings...
