Located on a 220 acre livestock farm, our 2 bedroom farm cabin offers privacy and quiet in a comfortable, and sunlit setting. The cabin's 3/4 wrap around deck looks out onto a quiet forest.
There is no smoking anywhere on the farm grounds.
No dogs are allowed. Our farm has two working dogs who are great with children and adults but they are unwelcoming to outside dogs.
No shoes on inside the house (slippers welcome!).
The wood-stove is only to be operated by the farm owners (us). We will happily come by and start a fire for you, should you need one, just give us a call.
AWD and 4WD is required for November-April visits.
My husband, Nick, and I (Kate) run a small, diversified livestock farm here on Longest Acres. We have one young son who is 2 and accompanies us on most farm work. We raise American Milking Devons and Icelandic sheep. We also have a few pigs, one goat, a handful of chickens, 3 dogs and 2 cats and a big garden. We love to be outdoors working our land, in rain, snow, or sun. We always have a many different and exciting projects going on. Right now we are building a post and beam addition onto our house. The apple harvest is coming up (and the trees are laden this year). Soon it will be shearing time and washing all that wool.
