This six bedroom shared house is in a quiet Jewish community just a 1.1mile walk to the Othello light rail station & a .8mile walk to Seward Park. It's a very peaceful area, and is convenient to the airport and also downtown Seattle, by light rail, car or Uber. Parking is available. Your private room is spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The host does not live on site and room keys are available by request.

The space

Your room is on the upper floor, up the stairs upon entering the house. Take a right through the doorway and your room is the second doorway on the left.
It is furnished with a queen bed. It also has small fan, personal floorboard heaters, work desk w/lamps and closet space with hangers.
The shared bathroom is located on the same hallway as the bedroom for which you have booked. It will be the first door on the left when walking from the living area. The towels are either stacked on shelving or in cabinets within the corresponding bathroom.
Please limit time to 15-20min to respect the other house guests. Remember to turn off any lights you may turn on.

Guest access

Feel free to enjoy both levels in the home. Both kitchens, living and dining rooms, bathrooms, the backyard and upper deck. Basically you have access to the entire home as much as you would like. The deck off of the upper dining area is great to enjoy in nice weather, just be sure to lock the glass door when you come back inside. Our shared spaces are perfect for reading, or enjoying our fast internet and wifi, for both personal or business needs.

Interaction with guests

I am not permanently residing on the property. Once a day the housekeeper, Ricky, will be present. I am always reachable by messages or phone, and within a close distance should an emergency arise.

Other things to note

There is no air-conditioning in this home. Please be advised that it can be terribly hot in Seattle during the summer without AC. If you are in need of a climate controlled accommodation, then you need to search elsewhere.
The top bunk doesn't have a mattress, for safety reasons.
A room key is available by request for a $10 fee. It will be delivered to the room within a day.

Horrible experience. More like a hostel with ~6 rooms with random people coming in and out of the house throughout your stay depending on how long you stay. Worst part, because of high volume of turn over in one single house, they gave me a room that was already taking...and that room looked nothing like the picture. The room they ended up moving me to was dirty although they said it was clean. This guy has MULTIPLE homes all over the city that he manages from a distance. More like a get "money quick maneuver" by taking advantage of airbnb but leaving the guest without a proper Airbnb experience. If you could careless about the experience and want a cheap place, this is the place for you.

Good place to stay. Commute is close by. 20 mins walk from light rail (from airport). #7 bus will take you to downtown/Chinatown/pike market. Place is kept well clean. Only issue was running hot water is limited with a large group and hair dryer runs only 5mins then shutdown. PS there is parking in the backyard and front (no worries)

The place was very clean and neat. No problems with other people staying there and it was super comfortable. The only thing even slightly off was that the toilet would run, but really i cant think of anything other than that small detail that was a problem. Perfect place to stay! and what a great deal.

Location is great... not too far from public transportation, and about 50 minutes from downtown Seattle (the warf area, museums, etc.) by bus (#7). If you walk, you can also get to the light rail, but it'll take longer getting downtown. We had stayed in this house on a previous trip to Seattle. The neighborhood is safe but there is bit of a walk for those traveling by public transportation. Consider it good exercise. We finally met Dario (briefly) this trip. Nice guy, but he's constantly on the go, so don't expect to converse much. As I told him privately, too bad he no longer furnishes breakfast with the room. It was not promised, but was very convenient in the past. We did visit with another couple (older like us) from Japan who were also visiting Seattle. That was interesting - always nice talking to international travelers.
