Clean & comfortable cottage (we were in Cottage number 2) with lovely views over vineyards and also decent wifi. Our 2 year old daughter loved waking up to all the animal noises in the morning and watching the sheep & horses graze whilst having her breakfast. You will definitely need your own car as it is off the main road. There are a few restaurants & a shopping centre nearby. Nights were very quiet and had lovely views of the stars!

Peaceful, quiet location in between vine fields. The location is 3km from a main road. It is recommended to have a car to get to this location as taxis / uber do find it difficult. The apartment was well equipped for a long stay. Coffee machine included ;) It was large enough and comfortable for 5 guests. Would recommend this place for a relaxing quiet stay and to visit local vineyards.

Love the view and was a nice and spacious for kids plus the animals were fun. I think it's overpriced though with the shower not really working, haredryer broken, old bed sheets & (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps taking us to the wrong location.

Response from Terry-Ann:
Good day, Belcharto is a country cottage and the water is not as strong as a town hotel but have not had any previous complaints. We tested the hairdrier and found it was working. the sheets on the beds were made up for children with character linen especially for children. Apologies if this is not suitable. We have removed them and will only use white from now on unless requested by guests. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps seems to have a slight problem with directions when you are 300m from Belcharto farm. Boards show the directions and km distance all the way on Fischers Road for guests to follow.

We stayed for a party nearby and really loved the calm views and peaceful space of Belcarto.

Terry Ann met with us upon arrival, she was really very welcoming, we enjoyed a comfortable self catering unit, which was in accordance with our expectations. Picture perfect, we enjoyed Robbie the pig and all the animals. We would most definitely like to return.

To describe this accommodation as a cottage is very misleading. It is more like a series of adjoining ground-flour flats with a thin screen between outside balconies. The view is lovely, and the surrounding area is quaint. Once you are inside the flats they are spacious, if rather dark. The decor is cheap and cheerful. The flat was very clean, but the bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept in; I quite like a hard bed, but this was taking it too far. In terms of value for money, I feel the rate is double what it should be. I've stayed in many, many stand-alone 'cottages' in the area for half this price. I did appreciated the milk and packet of chips and chocolate on arrival. I wouldn't stay again. I also wouldn't recommend this accommodation. I feel the rate should be dropped significantly. I also feel the owner could be a lot more transparent regarding the 'type' of accommodation she is offering.

Everything was very easy - thanks for being so uncomplicated and fast. Kobus (the manager) gave us a warm welcome and a nice and good introduction. We spent only a day/night there but it was really nice and especially for our little daughter (2y) all the animals (a huge pig, horses, chicks, etc.) were really entertaining. To be honest - it wasn´t the cheapest pick at airbnb but it is was a big cottage. So if you use it with 3 or 4 People or a family it is worth it. Thanks Iva, Karlie, René.
