Paddy's studio apartment is exactly as described and shown in the fotos. It is cosy and functional, and it is actually amazing how intelligently the limited space is organized - it feels bigger than it is.
Even though I did not meet Paddy in person, his generous hospitality is obvious.
Signing in (with a friend) was fast and smoothe.
The location has many pluspoints:
easy to reach by car (no complicated navigating neighborhood streets, 24/7 garage close by), by train (few min. to the statin), public transport 'round the corner.
Even though close to a big intersection, the street itself is quiet, and the apartment even more quiet as it faces out back (with a spacious balcony across a chestnut tree - too bad it was so cold when I was there ...)
Downtown is easy to reach on foot (I grew up in Düsseldorf, I know).
And thanks to the vecinity to the central station, there is always food available (I arrived late in the evening and this was important), restaurants of all ethnical shades - Mediterranean, Mexican, Italian, Turkish, Thai (Sila Thai: excellent), rather authentic Chinese, Corean, Greek, ... ... ..., and even a couple of shops open late.
Summary: very recommendable!
