Kerstin was a literal lifesaver, allowing me to stay in her lovely and well appointed apartment at the last minute (less than a day before I arrived in Munich) during an Oktoberfest weekend when I ran into a scheduling issue with the host of the AirBnB I had already booked. Regrettably, I did not get a chance to meet Kerstin since she was out of town, but she had a friend meet me at the apartment with the keys when I arrived (and it was after dark by the time I did get there, so I appreciated that very much!)
The apartment is wonderful and clean, tastefully furnished and with lots of character. You get access to the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The other two rooms are locked for the host. This provided a whole home experience that was very nice. The sofa bed was very comfortable and the chocolate left with the linens was a great touch! I loved the zebra/animal decorations and the natural wood in the room too.
The location is very convenient. There is a 24 hour laundromat a half block away. There are many cafes, restaurants, bars and grocery stores within walking distance. Easy access to trams, buses and short walk to the Universität U-Bahn station (U3/U6). I would highly recommend staying here if possible!
