Hi! I m really looking forward to meeting and sharing my home with other travelers like yourself. The house is centrally located, and by the mediterranean, a good place to relax, cool down in the sea and soak up the sun! Also near the medeival castle, taverns, restaurants, night life, traditional coffee shops where you can sit and ponder with the locals while drinking Cyprus coffee.
I am also a traveler, enjoying to travel deep into the culture and landscape of remote areas around the world, sharing, experiencing and learning the wisdom of the people that welcome and invite me into their homes. Each home being different, wherever this may be! Whether a humble hut, a nomadic yurt out in the Karakorum mountain range, a shared room in an indian yoga centre with its little mice running and playing along the beams early in the morning, the majestic peakocks entering the yard at dawn, or a three storey palace, all with their individuality, charm and character....
Traveling through Central Asia and migrating by camel, yaks and yurts with the nomads, through the platau and turquise blue lakes of the Karakorum mountain range. Learning from the healers of the Philippenes while staying deep within the rainforests of Kalinga, and the peaceful Igorot people who shared their home, life music and dance with me by flowing rivers and hot springs, with the gypsies of Thrace and their spirit for music and dance, following the path of Alexander the great, leading me to tracks high in the himalaya, the silk route, the beautiful animals I have met while traveling that took me to new locations and a new world that unfolded in front of me, the large crow that looked at me in the eyes and asked me for a peace of the bread I held in my hands, the yogis of India who taught me through yoga how to bend my body this way and that, in postures that I never knew where possible! Also the temples dedicated to the Gods of Greece, their white marble and light inspiring me to paint, the temple of Venus, Aphrodite located near my home and the sea views below that fill my life with love and beauty and much more......
I m also a designer, artist, inspired by my journey and I also teach yoga. I m sure we can arrange an evening session on the beach!
In my home, you are welcome to express yourself creatively, relax with yoga, and travel to places far and wide through the travel books I have, conversation, sharing experiences and explorations around the island, the centre of Limassol and much more! I am bi lingual, speaking Greek and English with much to share with you when we meet....
I am easy going, love to communicate and also relax with my guests when possible, and see everyone as friends and part of the family. I love to host people from all over the globe who are open to relax, share and help out in our home whenever possible, and even take excursions together if you are interested! I run my home like a home from home and not a hotel.... If you are interested in something different, come and join me.....
I look forward to meeting you......
