Great stay! We were a group of 5 friends on a weekend getaway, and the space had everything we needed. The location was within walking distance to everything- restaurants, bars, hiking. The home was clean, comfortable and decorated with lots of conversation pieces. The host was very responsive and I'm sure would have addressed issues quickly if we'd had any. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Beacon!

All in all, this place was excellent and a great value. Location is wonderful. Cleanliness (which is one of the most important factors to me) was top notch. Michael was very communicative and helpful- he was more than happy to accommodate my request for an early check-in. The place is very deceiving from the outside- inside is unique and well put together. The ONLY issue that I had, and I do bring up because I feel that it contributed to overall comfort, is that the air conditioning is not sufficient to keep the place comfortable- granted, we were there during a very hot/humid time, but it did make sleeping a less than pleasurable experience for us. However, as I said, overall value is well worth it and I would definitely recommend. A great place and a great host.

Michael's place is a hidden gem! We planned a weekend getaway for 6 at the very beginning, then it came down to 5, I requested a reservation alteration, and then it turned to 4 of us less the 24 hours of check-in, but I still submitted a alteration for info update, but Michael was very kindly accepted my second alteration. And the communication was super easy, the check-in time is 5pm, but Michael offered an earlier check-in. About the space, locates in a very quiet street and close to restaurants and shops. The space is very clean and full of sunlight, kitchen and fridge are fully stocked! The best part is the decor was amazing and artsy made me want to stay instead go out. Defiantly recommend anyone who comes to beacon!

We had a very comfortable stay at Michael's. It is only about a mile away from Main Street and lots of shops and restaurants! I'm glad I looked it up on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps to get a view of the exterior -- while it is in a residential neighborhood, the little block it is on has commercial/warehouse buildings on it and his house is one of them, converted to a home. We felt like we were living in a private art museum -- the pieces inside are engaging/fascinating/different -- which we enjoyed. Michael was also very responsive when we arrived and had a question about how to use the AC. The soaking tub upstairs is a bonus!

Such a great place to stay! When arranging our arrival and departure times, Michael was super responsive and really flexible, letting us stay a little longer on our last day. The loft space is great -- plenty of room for me and my four friends. Kitchen is stocked with great cookware, and idiosyncratic art is everywhere. The large TV screen (plus HDMI cord) is great for watching movies together, and all the beds were super comfortable. Finally, it's a great location -- just a short walk to Main Street where all the action is. Both the Mt. Beacon trail and Dia:Beacon are within walking distance, too, though it'll take about 25 minutes walking to get to either.

This may be bias as this is my dream loft space... I love this spot, great location, plenty of room to gather and hang out as well. Not a "luxury" stay if that is what you are looking for, but if you want fun open space with great light and artistic vibes, this is the one.
