Habitación con cama queen súper agradable con closet perfecta para dos personas
Misleading post. For one even though pets are allowed, it is not pet 'friendly'. I am aware there are differences in how pets are treated in Mexico vs. US, Canada and Europe. Our only choices were to either keep our 14 year old deaf dog all night in the car (which we did) or in their garage full of oil (which we didn't think was safe for her health), or on the roof with their two dogs where poop hadn't been cleaned up for days upon days. It smelled of feces and urine and was awful. I would not put my dog there either. We travel with a kennel and a special blankets and even then they said no dog in the house. Second thing that is misleading is that even though Juan seems to be your host, you never get to meet him. His mom seems to run this house and, unlike Juan who boasts of speaking 4 languages, only speaks Spanish. We booked this place in hopes that my husband could have someone to speak with since he doesn't speak much Spanish like I do. Juan also talks of doing a lot of sports, something else in common with my husband who is a triathlete. Well - kiss that one goodbye. The place was mostly clean (not the bathroom) and safe. The street it is on however is very busy with traffic and therefore very noisy. Dogs across the street bark all night. The only saving grace for us was speaking with Enrique (the dad) in the morning. He had many stories of the Huichol, and nearby places where indigenous people still live. He was the only one who seemed to care about his guests. We seem to be an encumbrance to the others. Other two guests present also felt they had to tiptoe around the mom so they chose to stay in the room most of the time. Not a pleasant experience otherwise for either us or our dog.
Response from Juan:
Hi, i really apologize for all the the details you mention and all the inconveniences you had, we will work on that, unfortunately I was out of town, and sorry about my Mon but she just speak Spanish, I just help her with the app, i appreciate all your comments, taking notes about all you said to solve it. As i mention i do a lot sport and speak 4 languages, but well we dint met in person to talk about it! Thank for the words to my dad, i will tell him! hope u had a nice trip to your home, and have a nice life! best wishes!!
We had a great few days here, the room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The house was about 15 minutes easy walk from the centre of town. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast on New Years Day and when our avocado turned out to be not great, the host gave us some of hers! Would recommend staying here.
