Wonderful cottage on the shore of Dingwall Harbor. Nicely updated with everything you need, including kayaks so you can paddle in the protected waters of the harbor. Great location to hike the trails at Cape Breton National Park.

This is a beautiful place with beautiful surroundings! It's a perfectly central location to visit both sides of the national park. We spent two full days hiking the park and even decided to stay an extra night. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in Dingwall. The cottage is lovely and very well maintained and the photos online are totally accurate. Lisa and Conrad were welcoming, helpful, and available whenever we needed them. We really enjoyed staying in Dingwall because it's just off the beaten path of the Cabot Trail so it was very quiet and serene, even at peak tourist season. We found so many gorgeous beaches and coves to explore just driving around. This is a great cottage for a family - big enough and with so many comforts of home. The St. Paul Island Lighthouse Museum next door is small but very well done.

Lisa and Conrad's house is a real gem that met our needs perfectly. It is ideally located for hiking the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and visiting the stunning beauty of the coastline, fishing villages and restaurants on both sides of the Cabot Trail. The house itself is compact (vs "cute") and is laid out in a convenient and comfortable way. The two us had plenty of room in the living room, kitchen and bedroom, and there is a second bedroom that sleeps two. The bathroom is clean with a good shower. And there is a new washer and dryer in basement; just ask if you need it. The house overlooks a small attractive inlet off the ocean with a fishing marina nearby. And next door is a small historic lighthouse/museum with free admission. But the best part of the place is the easy hospitality and kindness of the hosts. Lisa and Conrad respect your privacy, but are right at hand if you need help.

Very convenient to either the east or west side of the Cabot Trail. Great hosts. Lisa prepared some kids' games for our two kids and offered them the strawberries from her garden. Recommend this place to people who plan to visit Cape Breton National Park area.
