Originally built in the 1930's, this home has terrazzo and oak flooring, and is on a street with cute little neighborhood bayfront parks. In less than 10 minutes on foot or bike, you are at great cafes, an art cinema, and watching beach sunrises. We accept female guests only.
The room has polished oak floors, lots of windows, a built in desk, a steel drum, an 'art section' that you are welcome to create with to your heart's content. There is a lounge chair and small table under a beautiful wide branched tree where you can read, have a tea, or just take a power nap. Our dog will keep you company if you ever feel lonely; she is happy to sit at your heels anytime.
We lead pretty busy lives, so after early morning, the house will be yours to use in the common areas; dining, living, large entry lounge area, deck, patio, and shady garden sitting area.
Interaction with guests
We are experts at our area and happy to give pointers on great restaurants, the beach activities, how to get places, and can even give you a ride if you are willing to leave around 7am!
Other things to note
You must be totally a dog lover...ours has run of the house and will quickly enter your room if your door is open and make herself at home on your bed or your lap. (Keep your door closed!) Your bathroom is shared, accessed with 2 doors; one from your room and one from one of our bedrooms. Just close your bathroom door when you go to bed.
Basic courtesies of shared space...clean up after yourself, conserve energy and water by turning off the lights/fans when you leave the house, and close doors quietly when you come home late after an evening of fun... we do not mind how late as there is a lot to enjoy here! Our home is drug and smoke free.

I don't take up a lot of space, love to travel, meet new people, new adventures. Photography, swimming, hiking, scuba, bike riding, and sweaty yoga are my favorite things to do! My daughter and I love to travel and learn about ethnic cultures, food and lifestyles.
