The space

2 adjacent and Spacious 26m2 apartments on the 3rd floor, facing East, with FREE WiFi, to sleep 4-12.

The apartment is very close to the ski lifts (all within 150m) and all of the resorts facilities, shops, bars and restaurants.

The large Spar foodstore is just 30m from the apartment building entrance. The 'Spitting Feathers' English bar and Mouflon restaurant are right outside. There are 5 ski hire outlets in the resort, including Ski Republic, Ski Set, Skimium, and Intersport, and all are within 30-100m. Plagne Bellecote boasts numerous bars and restaurants, nightclubs, a natural ice rink, souvenir and French speciality food shops, Sauna/Spa, Cinema, Pharmacy, Launderette and Lift pass office, and is linked by Gondola till 00.45am to Belle Plagne for access to even more restaurants, bars (10 pin Bowling) and a nightclub.

BEDS & BEDROOMS - Each apartment has 2 bedroom/sleeping areas which can be separated using sliding doors.

The first bedroom area sleeps up to 4 persons in an elevated large double bed, above 2 single beds (that can be moved together to form a 2nd double bed). The second bedroom area is also the lounge, and the two sofa/beds provide two single beds, or if pushed together form a 3rd double bed.

QUALITY BED LINEN - All bed linen is provided together with microfibre 'all season' 13.5 tog (4.5 & 9 Tog) duvets.

KITCHEN/DINING - Each apartment has a small separate kitchen with a full sized dishwasher, fridge, combi microwave/convection oven, 2 electric hotplates, kettle, toaster, cafetieres (large and small), filter coffee machine, wine and water glasses and large English tea/coffee mugs. Salt and Pepper grinders, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, sponges, washing up brush, paper kitchen towels, toilet paper and cleaning products are all provided. For the 16/17 season each apartment will have a table top granite hot stone/raclette grill for you to enjoy French style dining.

BATHROOM & TOWELS - The bath/shower has a bath shower screen and shower riser attachment. A bath towel for use in the bathroom/shower is provided, and a separate towel for use in the swimming pool. Bubble bath is also provided.

DRYING AREA - There is a very efficient drying area in the bathroom, with electric heater for drying your wet/damp clothes, ski gear and towels, particularly important if you swim every night (or in the afternoon) after skiing.

Guest access

ACCESS - to each apartment is via a push button code lock.

Guests will be advised of the entry codes on the day of arrival.

Interaction with guests

I live locally throughout the ski season and so am generally on hand to greet and assist guests during their stay.

Other things to note

In my opinion, each apartment is very spacious for 2-3 guests, perfect for 4, & cosy for 5-6 .

GROUPS OF UP TO 6 PERSONS - 1 or 2 apartments.

GROUPS of 7 to 12 - I have two adjoining ski apartments available, and so can accommodate groups of up to 12 in the 2, if both are available to book. If the 2 adj. apartments are already booked, the other 2 apartments (4th and 5th floors) are also perfect, being very close together (less than a 40 second walk via one flight of stairs).

GROUPS OF 13 to 24.
I have 4 apartments in total. Consequently I can accommodate groups of up to 24 utilising the accommodation in any of my 4 ski apartments.

I also have a Ski Chalet (Chez Helene Ski) on the back of La Plagne, opposite the 3 Vallees, (ref (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) which sleeps 8-16, though max 12 persons recommended for comfort in the living areas.

IN THE SCHOOL AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
Rental rates are based on a minimum of 4 guests staying for 7 nights. Shorter stays may be booked, and by less than 4 guests, but the rate for each apartment will be at the 7 night rate for 4 (to 6) guests, for that week.

Outside of the school holiday periods, I can offer my guests short stay 3-6 night ski trips/long weekends etc, and for larger groups of 6+ can offer the accommodation with airport transfers.

I can also offer longer stays of 7-21+ night trips, and am flexible on arrival and departure days.

I can also offer a special 9 to 11 day ski package with or without airport transfers, which can take in 2 weekends, with half price skiing on the Saturdays, which maximise days on the slopes and minimise days taken off work.

I can also offer 2 centre ski holidays, staying both in the apartments and also in my 6 bedroomed ski chalet (Chez Helene Ski) with 8 double beds, and which sleeps up to 12, located on the back of La Plagne, opposite the ski resort of La Tania (Courchevel), Meribel and the 3 Vallees.

SKIING OPPORTUNITIES
Staying in the Chalet during your extended ski holiday provides guests with the opportunity to ski in one or all of the 3 Vallees resorts (comprising Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, St Martin de Belleville, Orelle) and both of the Paradiski resorts (La Plagne & Les Arcs). I can also provide day trips to ski in the Espace Killy area (Tignes and Val d'Isere), the smaller ski resort of Sainte-Foy-Tarantaise, and in La Rosiere, during your stay.

OUTDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL - My guests are entitled to free use of the outdoor swimming pool (with a payable sauna and hot tub facility available), which is heated throughout the winter (and summer) to 30 degrees and which stays open till 21.30pm on several evenings during the week.

LOCAL AMENITIES AND LINK TO BELLE PLAGNE - Plagne Bellecote is home to a natural ice rink, spa, and snow mobiles, and is linked by free Gondola to Belle Plagne till 00.45am, allowing guests to make use of the numerous bars, restaurants, nightclubs and well being spas located in that linked resort. The nightclub stays open till 4am, and operates a free shuttle bus to/from Plagne Bellecote after the gondola lift stops at 00.45 am.

FREE SHUTTLE SKI BUS - A free ski bus service operates all around La Plagne linking most of the ski stations and villages, not otherwise linked by ski lifts.

PIERRADE/RACLETTE IN THE APARTMENT
For the 16/17 ski season each apartment comes equipped with a portable electric Granite Stone Pierrade/Raclette Grill, so you can experience fine French style dining (sizzling duck breast, steak and turkey) all cooked to perfection to your own individual preference, in your own accommodation.... loved by families and groups of friends.

CLEANING PRODUCTS PROVIDED - The apartments come fully equipped with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning products, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, and paper kitchen towels.

No noise after 22.00 pm.

I expect my guests to respect my property, and to behave in a respectful and decent manner towards all other residents and guests in the building. In particular to keep noise, music and socialising under control, and to not create noise or disruption after 22.00pm. There are numerous nightclubs and bars available in which to make noise and party. Please return to the apartments quietly. Complaints from other residents will be investigated, and could result in guests being asked to leave the apartment early, and subject to a fine/penalty being taken/deducted from your security deposit.

Cleaning
Guests are expected to leave the apartment in a clean and tidy state (as found on arrival). In the kitchen, the hotplates, microwave oven, all pots, pans, plates/bowls, cutlery and tops must be cleaned, and all crockery and utensils put away (note - not left in the dishwasher). Please leave the kitchen as you found it when you arrived.

In the bathroom, the sink and bath should be cleaned. Cleaning products are provided, and will be found on the floor in the safe/blanket cupboard, or under the kitchen sink. Please also vacuum the carpeted areas.

If the apartments are left in a poor and uncleaned state, with washing up required, a charge at £60 per hour will be made and taken/deducted from your security deposit.

The perfect place to stay! Everthing is in walking distance: Skilifts, grocerystore, restaurants. The appartments are as on the pictures, small but perfect for 4. We really enjoyed our stay, and David was a very nice host! Thank you David

My family and I (15 adults and 3 kids) spent Christmas in three of the apartments sublet by David. Before our arrival David sent us information regarding the snowfall and general skiing condition and provided advise about transportation (he knows the area well). At our arrival David greeted us and showed us around in the apartments so we knew how everything worked. He was very attentive throughout the week and answered our questions quickly whenever by phone or email (WIFI connection is great). The apartments had been cleaned and the beds made for us. In addition he had placed a lot of candy for us to enjoy :D The kitchens were well assorted with tools, cleaning items, dish cloths etc. We even managed to cook a nice Christmas dinner for 18 between the 3 apartments (we mostly used the stove). We were able to ski directly to the apartment and the hotel is very close to the gondola and a selection of shops. We had a lot of fun during our stay and we hope to repeat the success in the future.

David was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable about the locations, extremely accommodating and made himself available to us for anything we needed. David stocks up the apartments with the essentials which is a lovely touch and means theres a few less things to worry about as soon as you've arrived! The apartment locations are fantastic with short and easy access to everything needed - restaurants, pubs, clubs and 100m to the lifts - brilliant! We ate out several times but also made use of the kitchens a few times and had everything we needed. I hope to visit again some time in the future!

My friends and I stayed in two adjacent ski in ski out apartments in La Plagne Bellecote for a long skiing weekend. David was an excellent host! He was friendly and very flexible with our dates which we were very grateful for. He was always on call in case we had any queries and or needed any help. The apartments themselves were in the perfect location for skiing in the vast La Plagne area. We had the choice of four ski lifts to take us to the different part of the ski area. The local amenities were good and we were provided free access to the local spa which included a heat outdoor pool. Overall, the apartments were as advertised and in good condition. We all would like to thank David for such fantastic ski holiday and would definitely return.

David is zeer vriendelijke en behulpzaam; bijna meteen een antwoord terug op vragen (zelfs een keer om 01.00 a.m. ) en heeft veel kennis van de omgeving. Het appartement zelf (2 x 6 personen appartement die naast elkaar liggen) ligt bijna direct aan de skipiste, spar-supermarkt, ski verhuur en verschillende restaurantjes. De appartementen zijn niet groot, maar voldoende om te slapen en eventueel wat te eten. 12 personen zou erg knus zijn in dit appartement (er weinig ruimte is om de eigen spullen goed op te bergen); wij zaten er met zijn 6-en waardoor we ook wat ruimte hadden om tassen op een bed te zetten. Prima verblijf gehad.

There are 5 things in life that make me really happy, being, in no particular order....

My Family & Friends, Skiing, Paragliding, My Work (I am a Chartered Accountant running my own practice) and Hot Indian Food, and more Skiing.

Just under 10 years ago I discovered the joys of Skiing and Paragliding, and loved those activities so much so that I just had to buy myself a home right here in the Heart of the French Alps, to indulge my passions for those sports.

In the winter I now ski on these amazing mountains every day if I wish, and in the Spring & Summer soar high above them.

I love to share my home with people who share that same passion for these magnificent and wonderful mountains.

I spent 2 summers exploring the whole of the French Alps, and viewed over 100 properties until I finally found one that ticked all the boxes....'Chez Helene', located in a small friendly mountain village and just 15 mins drive to both the 3 Vallees ski domain (the Worlds largest linked ski domain) and also the Paradiski ski domain (the World's third largest ski domain). It fulfilled every wish I had for a property in the Alps. Made of wood ,with a separate self contained studio, plus 4 other bedrooms (I have 4 children and 2 grandchildren), and scope for another bedroom which I have since added, and further scope to extend and expand if I wish....With its own self contained Studio, I can be totally separate from my guests or totally involved, as they wish.

I know I have truly found my own piece of heaven here in Montagny, and I truly believe you will see it that way to.

I love my life, and love to host my winter ski guests. To watch my guests, some of whom have never skied before, experience the absolute joy of mastering their skis and conquering the slopes, is an absolute joy!

UPDATE 2015 - This July I invested in 2 ski apartments in the ski station of Plagne Bellecote, on the other side of the mountain to the Chalet, and am really excited about the coming ski season. with 8 weeks booked already. I see the studios as an extension of the Chalet, being just an hours ski or hours drive away, and some of my guests will be offered the opportunity to stay in both the Chalet and the studios, during their ski holidays, when they are free, to experience the two totally different environments.... the peace and quiet of the mountain village chalet, and the fun in resort buzz and doorstep Apres Ski when staying in the apartments.
