Certainly one of the best locations in Rome, in an eighteenth-century palace. One overlooks the entire historical center of the city, and from the house all the most important monuments are within walking distance: Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, and the Vatican. The room is in an attic with a view of the historical center and the rooftops of Rome. The room is private. The owner lives in the house.
Even though it is in the heart of Rome, two steps from Piazza Navona, in the house reigns absolute tranquility. The view is priceless. The domes, the rooftops of Rome, the stars, and the silence are on their own, worth a whole trip.
Besides the private room, for the guests' comfort, there is also a small bath with the essentials, a bathroom with a tub and shower, a living room, a kitchenette to prepare breakfast and two magnificent terraces. It is not permitted to cook at hours other than morning breakfast. The attic room is private. The rest of the house is shared with another person.
Interaction with guests
I will be delighted to give my guests all the help they nee to discover the sites and exclusive restaurants outside of the tourist map. In the morning, Marisa prepares an excellent coffee and will have fresh croissants delivered. According to the working schedule, I also will be totally available to give you information on how to enjoy the city at best. It's possible to request in advance a limousine service with a Mercedes to and from the airport. 50 euros each way. When you arrive at the house for the first time, buzz SALVATI. Take the elevator and climb to the last floor.
Other things to note
The house is distributed over three levels. On the entrance level, one finds the living room, bathroom, large terrace and the room of the owner. On the middle floor there is the kitchen and another terrace. On the higher floor you have the panoramic attic for guests. On the terrace and roofs live two highly educated cats. In the lower room lives the owner, but on the weekends, sometimes, nobody is there. Access to the attic is through a spiral staircase. Whether your stay is short or long, my duty will be to give you the best of Italian style and hospitality. The memory of Rome and of the house must remain forever.
