This is a great solid stone cottage where you will sleep like a log - the walls are so thick. It's the perfect getaway from the city either for a romantic couple wanting to explore the West Coast of Ireland or for anyone who wants to be centrally positioned to experience all the key locations that make up the Wild Atlantic Way.

The space

There is a bedroom with both a double and a single bed in it. There is a sitting room with a dining table and a sofa which pulls out to being a sofa bed creating a second bedroom if need be. There is a small kitchenette and a small shower room.
It's all you need and has a wonderfully cosy feel. It is situated at the end of the garden opposite the thatched "Hideaway" Cottage (see other listing) and can also be extra accommodation / rooms for bigger parties who are already renting the other house.

Cozy, charming and secluded stone cottage on the Irish countryside. Perfect jumping off point for the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Galway. Came stocked with milk, bread, jam, eggs and coffee. Tony was very friendly and informative with check in. Quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend.

Sascha's place is great for a change of pace. It is very quiet, comfortable, clean and well furnished. It has everything you need and we really enjoyed taking a few days break here after travelling constantly for weeks. Also close for excursions to the coast and cliffs of moher.

The Bothy is a very tranquil place in which to explore the many and beautiful sights of The Burren. Sascha and Jo were very helpful in suggesting lots of local attractions and experiences

Mystical stone house, very quiet, surrounded by Irish nature. Sascha was a very attentive remote host, Tony and Jo on the ground when needed. Have not slept deeper than here in a long time

Response from Sascha:
Thanks Robert for being a fab guest - it is truly the regeneration house as I said in my write up! Yogic stone walls stonemasoned from the Burren's ancient healing powers!!

I am a TV Producer with a hectic life - I would always return to our family's Irish thatched cottage called "Studio City" - AKA "The Hideaway" as the perfect place to unwind. The breathtaking walks along The Burren coastline... the roaring log fire... the Guinness ... and the seafood chowder at Linnanes were all key elements to getting "back to normal" after a long shoot.
The coast air is so pure it knocks you out and induces the sort of deep sleep that makes you wake up feeling 10 years younger.
