This was a trip down memory lane! Staying in this fabulous old rock house was like having the privilege of staying in a museum, and reminded me so much of my grandmother's house, which was just down the road in Cranfill's Gap. The cute little shed just outside the house had farm implements and tools that brought back so many memories. The rolling hills and vistas were beautiful! We enjoyed fishing in the pond and on the Bosque river, cooking out on the grill, eating outdoors, feeding the horses the apples we brought, and just enjoying getting away from the city and enjoying the big open sky and being in the country. We loved our stay!

We had such a great time at this property! Debbie and Jeff were great hosts - always available but never intrusive. The house has everything you need and was very clean. They have a huge, beautiful property that goes right up to the river. There's so much to see in the 70+ acres that we never left to see anything else during our stay. They have 4 very friendly horses that would come right up to our fence - and one really liked our dog :). We highly recommend staying here and are already planning for a return trip.

Wonderful quiet get away surrounded by beautiful nature. Hosts are friendly and very helpful but also don't bother you by hovering. It was the perfect New Years weekend getaway for us.

The hosts were great--very hospitable, well-organized, and helpful. The house is simple and comfortable. The location is great, with wonderful views, great walks through large pastures and down to the river. We had dogs with us and they loved the place and the setting. Lots of wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful. A great getaway. Good wifi connections. Just a few minutes from the small, quaint town of Meridian. Superb!

Jeff and Debbie were incredible hosts, to say the least. Their hospitality is out of this world, and they really made us feel like a part of the family. The ranch is absolutely breathtaking and we were fortunate enough to see tons of wildlife, along with having many opportunities to pet and feed their 4 horses. The guest house was so quaint and comfortable, with all the comforts of a home. We were visiting Texas from California with the intent to explore the state for the purpose of moving there in the near future. Debbie and Jeff gave great recommendations for towns to check out and places to visit. All in all, our trip was a success and the house and ranch were an excellent, relaxing retreat!!

My husband, Jeff and I live on our Ranch along with 4 dogs and 4 horses. We love our piece of heaven and love the Country! We enjoy traveling and we have 3 sons and a daughter-in-law ! Come and see us at Young Ranch and enjoy private access to the Bosque River. You will see Jeff and I running our dogs or just riding around the property or just hanging out on the porch.
Come and see us for a weekend or longer, stay as long as you want!
