The space

On the heights of Juan-Les-Pins, the heart of a park of palm, olive and mimosa. We offer our fully equipped studio and has a terrace meublée.Le studio is 30m ².
The inner-layout consists of 1 room, 1 bedroom, bathroom, WC, living room and kitchenette.
-For beds we have 2 single beds, 2 bunk beds, 1 pull out bed.
-We are equipped with TV, antenna T, V, telephone and code. The side of the kitchen there are utensils and cookware kitchen, coffee maker, electric kettle, electric stove, oven, fridge, crockery, cutlery and dishwasher.
-In the residence: there is an elevator,WiFI, park grove of pine trees ... , Parking, Concierge.

Neighborhood was good, close to the beach. Apartment was clean. Price of apartment did not include towels and linens, I paid an extra 55 Euros. Because I arrived after 7 pm, there was no one to provide the linens until the next day, which was a total inconvenience. Would have preferred they included it in the price, and should have left them in the apartment.

When I arrived at the building after being told I could not check in until 4pm in the afternoon, The reception had no idea who I was or about any booking. It took 45 minutes of calls and messages to finally get the key. I went to the apartment which was located on the ground floor of a building nearby, the apartment was dark and small. When I turned some lights on you could instantly see that it had not been cleaned after the last people had stayed. There was a used panty liner in the bathroom, the toilet had been used but not flushed, the rubbish bins where all full, the sink was full of dishes and the floors, Windows, furniture and crockery were all filthy. I called the owner and he suggested that a cleaner would come the next day. I think he thought I would happily live with other people's faeces and used sanitary pads lying around until then. I could not even use the toilet after a long day travelling as it was caked in dry urine stains. I had to go to the shop to buy food and so bought cleaning products as there were none in the apartment. I cleaned the apartment for 2 hours before it felt sanitary enough for me to eat, wash or sleep there. I was truly disgusted. The owners response was to blame the previous guests and offer me one nights refund. Totally unacceptable, it very nearly ruined my holiday before it had started. The swimming pool was not open - no mention on the Internet of this. There is no oven, no kettle, no toaster, no iron, no ironing board and there was not even toilet paper or sheets provided. The terrace faces the inside of the building and is covered by a large over hang, you do not get any light on the terrace so it is a cold place to sit. No sunshine here. I would never ever stay here again, this place was the most over priced, under furnished dirt hole I have ever stayed in. To top it all off I was told that i had to cancel my plans for the last Saturday as I had to sit around for most of the morning waiting to move my things into another apartment for my last 2 nights as this suited the host better for his bookings. Absolutely outrageous.

1-A portion of Daniel's comments justified and I admit: the previous "guest" had left the filthy apartment without leaving the keys in time for the Menage done (unfortunately.) A time before the coming of Daniel. I have repaid Daniel the first night of stay fee and sent the staff Menage next day. Anger, Daniel refused the wife of Menage intervene! 2-All appliances of ads are there, I am adamant: microwave oven making grill, coffee etc. 3- In the description, it is not mentioned nor iron, ironing board Ni. So why complain. 4- toilet paper is provided Clean sheets and clean towels are available in plastic to Reception against € 15. This is noted in the description. 5- the access to the pool is conditioned by the presence of a -nageur Maitre, issue of safety and regulatory compliance in France: it would be logical to let children swim without supervision? 6- We do not provide food .This is not expected. Conclusion: Everything has been done to correct the problem of entry into the premises, not satisfactory, I admit. And that resulted in repayment. The rest of criticism is not justified. Just read the reviews of other people ...

Nous sommes globalement satisfaits. Le logement est fonctionnel, propre et bien situé. La piscine est très agréable. Un bémol pour la literie trop dure à notre goût. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir rencontré notre hôte.

Ne pas utiliser. Évitez à tout prix. Horrible expérience individuelle et digne de confiance. Maurice a été signalé à airbnb qui ont enquêté et nous recevons de l'argent de retour (en espèces et chèques). AVOID. Our experience was rather unpleasant one. Here are some facts Maurice does not tell you: 1.Very impersonal service – Maurice is not living in the area, you are picking keys up in a nearby ‘hotel’ and that is that. 2.The apartment will only be as clean as the person before you has bothered to clean it. There is no one who is actually checking how clean the apartment is before you move in. 3.You clean the apartment yourself but apart from a hoover nothing else is supplied (our apartment did not even have a toilet brush!). I would avoid walking on the floor without shoes or using bathroom before you actually get a chance to buy some products and clean the bathroom yourself. 4.He is not the owner of the apartment!!! He used a phrase ‘time shared ownership’, whatever that may mean, saying that in the middle of our stay the apartment will belong to someone else. 5.And, finally, he may need to ask you to move from one apartment to another in the middle of your stay (meaning you will have to pack your stuff, clean the apartment, hand the keys over hoping keys for another apartment will be ready waiting for you, move in to the new apartment, unpack and the clean this one as well on leaving). Our story. The day before our holiday was going to start, Maurice sent us an email saying we will have to move to a different apartment: “1-Please note that you will stay in apartment 516 till Saturday the 4th , then you will need to move to Apartment 13 ( same building )”. It was not a question but simply a statement of fact. Over a few days we tried to reason with Maurice that we do not wish to move. He then tried to offer some compensation to try to get us to agree but we told him again we do not want to have all the inconvenience of having to move. In the end he said we had no choice and we can either accept his demand or move out completely and find another place to stay. We have reported Maurice to Airbnb who decided to report him to their internal team Trust and Safety Team to investigate his practices. The matter has ended that we had not choice but to move and have had reimbursment for the whole cost of stay in cash and vouchers. Please, for your own sake think twice before you book with Maurice. There is only one good reason you would do so – looking for the cheapest possible place. Even then, just try to look harder to find another one. Slawek and Monika
