The wigwam stay is for people who love the outdoor and aren't scared of being surrounded by the howling winds of Scotland. Cosy stay inside the wigwam with plenty facilities.

Had a great stay at Ann's place this weekend. The pod was much bigger than I expected, and was a lot better kitted out than a lot of cabins at twice the price, with Kettle, fridge, and decent space for eating / food prep. It had plenty of sockets for charging our gadgets and photography gear, and a pretty good electric heater. It makes for quite a cozy little cabin in the evening. The views out over the sea were awesome! The cabin also had plenty of windows, at the front and rear of the cabin, and a couple in the roof, which made a welcome change from some other cabins I've stayed at, which was essentially a shed with a window in the door. When we booked the pod, Anne messaged me plenty of information beforehand, which made both the whitewave centre, and then our pod extra easy to find, especially when we were trying to find it at night with ZERO phone signal on the drive up. (Btw for those who have mobiles with Three UK, you get decent 3G reception). While the showers and toilet, was seperate from the pod, it was only a 20 second walk (literally the building behind the pod). The showers and toilet were pretty clean, the shower was very warm, and pretty powerful. I would easily recommend this place to friends, and I will likely be back!

Such a beautiful place! Lovely views out to sea and an incredible look at the stars :) the hut was very cosy, we were there on a cold windy night but it was warm and comfy inside. We didn’t meet the host but there was a lovely note left for us and a binder full of useful info about the place and the local area. Would definitely recommend!
