Our historic old priest's house, dating from the 1650's, has comfortable antique furnished en-suite rooms, and a spacious 2 acre garden shared with hawks, owls and other wild-life. Daily meals are sourced from the local markets and our own garden.
Welcome to our beautiful old manoir, once the house of the local priests. Filled with light, and set in a 2 acre orchard garden 15km south of Caen on the edge of the Suisse Normande, we offer spacious, informal b&b and delicious home cooked evening meals, using the best of the abundant local produce.
We have two suites, and two other rooms, one a double and one a twin, all bar one with en-suite shower rooms, each of which can be booked individually. For groups taking the whole house there is an additional double room. Altogether we can sleep up to 10- 12 people comfortably. Breakfast and evening meals are served in our panelled dining room which has two sets of double french doors out into the gardens. There is also a lounge for guests to use, and free wifi.
There are lots of books in all the rooms, antique furniture, good company, and a beautiful garden with mature trees and a pond for you to enjoy. All the rooms have top quality organic cotton bedlinen and deluxe woven linen towels.
Great for all ages - parents with children get to eat authentic French food & wine without the stress of a formal restaurant, whilst the kids play in the garden, or perhaps 'help' in the kitchen.
We also have listings here for each individual room if you do not want to take the whole house.
We also run 1 to 4 day cookery classes alongside the b&b - take a trip with us to a local market, forage in our vegetable garden, and learn how to cook some of the fantastic local dishes. The seafood and other produce here is as good as it gets !
Guest Sitting room and dining room, two acre walled garden with pond and mature trees, and plenty of quiet corners to escape to.
Interaction with guests
We are always around - as much or as little as you want. If you dine here all the guests and ourselves share a table.
Other things to note
Our evening meals are special, and are very well reviewed both here and on other sites. There is an additional charge of 35 euros per head for three courses, plus a cheese course, wine etc included.
We also run cookery classes by arrangement including a trip to a local market.
The normal rules of civilisation apply. Children most welcome. Well behaved pets as well. Smoking in the garden is OK, but not the house.

We have tried to create the kind of place we would like to stay ourselves. Relaxed and informal, spacious, comfortably furnished, great food, great welcome, and affordable prices.
