Fantastic time in Sayulita, this apartment was a perfect way to chill out after a long day in the sun. Huge kitchen, gigantic bathroom and a cozy living room/bedroom suite. The apartment was a short walk up the hill from the main plaza. Would recommend to friends.

Great place. Short walk to downtown, the beach and everything you need!

There is dust and construction taking place right off the balcony. Lots of dust. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep in or are a light sleeper. The hill is not a problem. Maybe twenty feet of walking up hill.

Great spot--only 5-10 minute walk to the beach, comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen and AC, even though we didn't need it. It also comes with great beach chairs and other beach accessories!

The house was somewhat difficult to find, but a local helped us, for a little propina (tip). There were four of us, and we didn't have enough blankets, plus there were some issues with dust, as walking up the dusty hill tracked it into the house. More rugs would be nice. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay. Eric was very kind and attentive to our needs, including the use of the washer and dryer.

We were hosted by Eric and his friend Dan who managed everything while we were in town. Everything was very easy: Dan was there to meet us and also helped us get to the bus station when we left. We had no problems with anything at the apartment while we were there. The house is a short walk down to the beach. Although this wasn't an issue for us, the house is up hill, with the driveway part being especially steep which could be a problem for some people.

I grew up just outside of New York City, went to college in Albany, NY, and moved out to Crested Butte, Colorado to be a "ski bum" at the age of 23. After 15 years of "ski bumming" and building houses, working in construction, etc., I moved down here to Sayulita, Mexico, a magical beach pueblo. I do some property management, but mostly like to focus on surfing, yoga, and playing guitar.
