The space

Complete renovated apartment in the heart of Amsterdam in the most typical dutch neighbourhood of the city: The Jordaan!

Around 60 m2 apartment on the top floor of an apartment building.Steps away from the Anne Frank House and views of the famous Westertoren (Westerkerk). Brand new furniture, kitchen + 'Hotel Style' bathroom with a rain shower and a 'Hotel Style' bedroom with King Size (200 - 210 cm) electric box spring bed!

Loads of little shops, cheese, fish, meat, bakery, delicatessen around the area. Also loads of cozy and upstream restaurants and typical Amsterdam Atmosphere bars! All the canals are right on your doorstep and the city center is all around you.

The Jordaan is also called the village of the city, so it is really nice coming back to the apartment after walking and biking all day where it is so quiet and you can get a good night rest. It is so still.

Two parks are close, Westerpark and Frederik Hendrikplantsoen, but the biggest (Central Park of Amsterdam) 'Het Vondelpark' is only 10 minutes by bike.

Everyting is on biking distance. Bus and trams to the Central Station and Schiphol Airport are close by on the Rozengracht or Marnixplein.

Live like an Amsterdam Citizen!

A large number of trams and busses are within 5 minutes walking distance. Tramlines which can take you all around the city centre.

- Anne Frank house is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
- De Negen Straatjes (The nine streets) is a 5 minute walk.
- Dam Square is a 15 minutes walk from the apartment

Our best AirBnB experience to date! We were in Amsterdam for 7 nights and didn’t want to leave. WOW where do we start with this amazing apartment... if you are lucky enough that this apartment is available... you MUST stay! Reinald's apartment exceeded all our expectations. - It was so clean and comfortable - The roof top terrace was incredible we lounged about every afternoon soaking in the sun (because it doesn't get dark until 10pm in Amsterdam!) - Reinald was the perfect host, he left us some Dutch goodies to try and allowed us to check in early by getting his friend (Jochem) to meet us and show us around. Jochem even helped us take our bags up the stairs. He also checked in a couple of times to see how we were going - We walked to dinner every night there were some gorgeous and delicious places only a block away - Kitchen is perfect, we bought fresh bread and groceries from a nearby store and made breakfast every morning - The location is IDEAL we hired bikes from Bike City only about 10 Euro a day and were 10 minutes from everything - The bed is soooo comfortable! - Netflix was a great addition Overall, this experience has made us want to move to Amsterdam in the same area. Thank you so much Reinald if we are ever back we hope we are lucky enough to stay here :)

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Reinald's apartment in Jordaan. The apartment is super clean, well appointed, and the rainfall shower is just amazing! There were ample towels, bed sheets, and even shower slippers wow! In the kitchen there is a handy espresso machine and Reinald even left a few other treats for us as well as a fresh bouquet of flowers in the living room! Also, the WiFi connectivity was excellent and, in addition to the balcony, Reinald has recently added access to an amazing private rooftop deck with an awesome view (the apartment is on the top floor). As for location, the apartment is on a quiet street (perfect to get good sleep) yet close to many shops, restaurants, and literally just 3 blocks from Anne Frank Huis. Our only regret is that we did not get to meet Reinald in person, however he is excellent at communicating and was able to arrange for a friend to be waiting at the apartment upon arrival. In short, if you are looking to stay in Jordaan then Reinald's apartment is where you want to stay, and likely you will not find a better Airbnb host in all of Amsterdam! Cheers!

Reinald was a fantastic host! His apartment was just as photographed. The location was excellent and the apartment had everything we needed. Reinald even left coffee, a stocked fridge and a bottle of wine! Would highly recommend staying with Reinald. By the way, loved the balcony... the Westerkerk church is actually a lot closer in person!

Reinald was great with communication even though he was traveling himself leading up to and during our stay. His friend Julie was there to let us in and provided information on the apartment and made us feel welcomed. The apartment itself was fantastic as was the location. Reinald provided a ton of suggestions on places to visit in the area and also left the refrigerator stocked with beer, cheese, and other goodies. The area was very quiet, yet still centrally located near many great restaurants and other attractions. Everything during our stay was perfect, we would definitely come back for another stay!

Reinald's place was in the middle of the Jordaan neighborhood, is very close to the Anne Frank house and is walking distance to all the major sights. The Jordaan neighborhood is nice and quiet, but close, which is a good combination. There were a lot good restaurants nearby, as well as a couple grocery stores. The apartment was clean and the perfect size for the both of us. It has a nice balcony with a view of a beautiful church where Rembrandt is buried. He left us some nice cheese and other treats to try. Reinald was traveling himself when we arrived, however, he had his friend greet us at the apartment and show us around. Both Reinald and his friend were helpful and friendly.

Reinald was very helpful with the arrangements and besides all the helpful hints about our stay, his girlfriend was kind enough to even pick us up from the airport.

Response from Reinald:
Accidentally added in comment section by Xristos: "The property is fully refurbished and very modern with all possible enities and conviniences required. It is roomy and bright and has a great veranda.the location is central and close to transport options and the neighbourhood is filled with stylish small restaurants, pubs and shops. Excellent internet reception, cable tv, fully stocked nespresso coffee maker...the best part however was the host, Reinald, who clearly wanted to ensure we had a great holiday."
