The house could be very nice, the location is fantastic and the dimension perfect. As it is now, it is neglected, unhealthy and not worth the price asked. I find a pity to let such a cute property fall apart this way. When I arrived I was told that the house was just have been cl…

Response from Roberto:
Laura, The house IS very nice. It is very well worth the price asked. It seems your expectations are set on dear prices you are not willing to pay. This is a very quanit and well kept economy rental. Yet, It does have constant attention and maintenance. If you recall, exactly the day you arrived the plumber was working on a few aspects if you well remember right when you were moving in, and the gardener was working on the front garden. Also our cleaning assitant had just left. You received clean towels, clean kitchen rags, and you received not just clena bed sheets but totally new bed sheets. You found a recipient with water under the sink. You said it had mould in it. I have no way of knowing if it did and I won´t argue this. The rest of the house had been neatly cleaned. If you had found it was not, you should have mentioned it on when I checked you in or sometime during day one. We had more than enough time whne we did the check in. The water in the area is heavy with limestone in Tulum and there is no knowing when it will clog the shower heads exactly. As I explained to you when you let me know and I imediately rushed over to change it. Remeber how I even mentioned that we keep an inventory of shower heads for this reason. In sum, your request was imediately attended and the solution provided to you. There is the normal humidity of a coast and jungle town in all of our Tulum homes. This is sometimes the price we pay for living in Paradise. to avoid any of the efects we use a very spacial product that prevents mildew on walls and furniture. The sofas and the table and chairs are fairly new. Your statement regarding the furniture is false and sensless. The mattress was purchased not long ago and it is as high quality mattress. You got into issues with the neighbour and his car who parks in the street in fornt of the house and not in the driveway. There is more than enough room to enter, to exit and to ome and go freely. The neighbor was away during a the better part of your stay but anyway as soon as you said to me "I do not want the car there. I am paying for this house and I do not want his car in front" I called him on the phone instantly. Again your request (not really related to the house) was attended to imediately nevertheless. Laura, you make it sound scandalous and you have blown every aspect completely out of proportion. I do not know why you do this. It seems you have the intention to drive guests away because I do know this is the second time in Tulum (at least) that you make such comments on property you rent. I truely wish you well as I said to you after the long lecture you were giving me when I checked you out. May you find love and happiness. Best, Roberto

Roberto was there to meet us when we arrived pretty late. He was friendly, easy to communicate with and always available if we had questions. The apartment itself has everything you need when it comes to basic things. Although it was kind of dirty when we came (dishes were not p…

Gracias Stella. Sorry about the hot water. Had you let us know we would have fixed it imediately. It was really a very simple thing, just turning a knob on the water heater. I hope its not too cold back home now. Have a great time.

Nice little well equiped house in a quite corner in downtown Tulum. Had a great time and enjoyed my stay. Just some workers next door and their working noises annoyed here and there...

Roberto was a wonderful host! Very responsive, helpful, and warm. The mattress is extremely firm, so be aware if this is not your taste!
