We very much enjoyed our glamping experience at Wheems Eco Pod! Islay was great about communication and we found the directions to the site excellent, particularly since we were without internet on the Orkney Islands. The pod itself was large enough for two chairs, our two sle…

Exactly as advertised! The pod was very cozy, three american adult men were able to fit without any issues. The view was amazing and the honesty store was perfect.

The communal cooking and eating area has a really great feel too it, there are lots of utensils, crockery etc to use, there are even fresh herbs and a thoughtfully stocked box of organic food essentials available to buy should you have forgotten to pack something.

Thank you for your lovely review I am so glad you like the new sit ooterie! We put a lot of work into it in Spring last year as guests really needed the covered over area and its been a success with guests also appreciating the social aspect this year. I hope the perennial herbs are surviving the winter and look forward to replanting that for the season. Thanks for coming in the quiet months. I am always glad to hear guests are happy even in a dramatic Orkney winter! Best wishes, Islay
