A cosy old house (100m2) renovated for functionality and charm. Good space for 2 families both inside and outside the house. Open fire in livingroom and iron stove in kitchen. Nature view. Lawn and playhouse. Close by car to shops, swimming and restaurants.

The space

Two floors. Livingroom, kitchen, dinnerroom for 7-10, bathrooom (with heated floor) and bedroom with double bed on first floor. On second floor a loft with two beds (note that this is not a separate room) and an attic with a doublebed and two single beds - best suited for children. Babygear like bed, chair and potty available.
Old house with charm but functional and with many facilities. Terrass with furniture and parasoll. Big lawn for play and fun as well as swings and a playhouse. The stair to the attic is secured for children.

Guest access

The full house is for guests, so are the playhouse and part of an extra building if needed for gears. Cars can easily be parked by the house and closeby field.

Interaction with guests

We are most often just 10-15 minutes away - and if not we have "stand ins" or can be reached via sms or phone.

Other things to note

As part of the house is not isolated, April can be a bit chilly, so also end September. We have then extra heaters in the house.

OBSERVE
- Electricity is additional during April-June and September-October by use. (approx 150-200 SEK/week).

- SETS of Linen (bedset + 2 towels), 200 SEK/per person. Inform if you want this when booking.

Note that the last 3 km of the road from 167 is a gravel road.

It was our second time at Sörgärdet and hopefully not our last one.

Erika's nice house is a real treasure located in the center of the Bohuslän. And Erika is a wonderful host. She personally made sure that we felt comfortable and took really good care of us. The house is cosy and very nice. Everything you would need is there. Although it is very easy to reach and close to the E6 it feels very secluded and the property lies in the midst of a forest. Is a wonderful place to relax, which we can highly recommend :D. Thank you Erika, for this nice and memorable week.

Erika's place is one of the most lovely houses we stayed in with Airbnb, hidden in the Swedish woods. Communication with Erika was perfect, after the first day she came to meet us, and in the end to say goodbye. You can feel that the house is a loved family house and that she cares a lot about it. We would love to stay there again one day! Thanks again Erika!

We spent some happy days in Erika's beautiful house. The location is great - you have so much space and quiet that you feel completely on your own. The house itself is really tasteful and cosy and equipped with everything you need, even for cooking and baking a lot; we really felt at home! Finally we want to mention that Erika was extremely helpful when we had a problem with our arrival (because of an accident) and were forced to improvise somehow - that was really extraordinary!

An amazing vacation in sweden for a family of five- we loved the house and garden and did not miss a thing. The children felt very homy and loved to hang out in the cute and big sleeping-playing room upstairs. The playing house in the garden was also perfect to play. We just loved this stylish vintage interior- everything very clean and flowers arranged so beautiful- Thank you Erika, it was really nice getting to know you and thanks for all the information about the Loppies:)) Also the scenery around is just beautiful... - very close to a perfect neat swimming place with a playground and nice opportunities to relax and play in the water. The way to the ocean is really not far and the archipelagos all around are so beautiful to watch even from the car. And not to forget the älgs...a neat park just 30 minute car ride away. A fantastic week in Bohuslän!! We wil come back;))

What can we (URL HIDDEN) was simply GREAT. Beautifully located close to the woods & at he same time close enough to Ljungskile to get all the stuff you need like groceries & nice cafe's + shops. The house was very well equipped for all our kitchen needs & also for our little 1year old son. Nice porch, perfect lawn for playing frisbee & badminton & a couple of swings. We saw some deer, rabbits & you wake up with the birds. Erika is a really good host! Communication was perfect & all the information you need is available. We got some extra tips for biking & stuff. Thank you very much.

This place is a gem - especially for families with children who want to experience both, Scandinavian nature and seaside life. The house is very well kept and has been equipped and decorated with a lot of attention to details. Erika is a welcoming host, communication with her was easy. There are many toys, and the bonus was the little cabin with a "summer-kitchen" for kids next to a sand pit, there was no need to bring anything to keep our children busy while we relaxed on the terrace. We were 6 adults and 4 children, no problem at all, plenty of space (with warm weather, but we would have survived rain as well). We will be back for sure.

I, Erika, live with my family, husband and two kids ages 8 and 11, in Ljungskile. We let out Sörgärdet (The Southern field) - a small old house and place that we enjoy very much and want to share with others. The nature, wildlife and surrounding of the cottage is great - and stil…
