Upon entering, the view past the indoor garden is breathtaking. It's everything your imagination could have dreamed. People were messaging me about the house moments after posting the first photo. This house ended up being perfect set up for 3 couples and 2 single New Yorkers with high standards. Each bedroom is a master with its own en suite, spacious, clean, and air conditioned. Three rooms with queen size beds and one room with two twins. The central area/kitchen of the house is not air-conditioned as I assure you, the large folding glass doors to the water will always be open. Outside: There is an alfresco dining area where we enjoyed lunches by cook we were put in touch with, Ruthie. We enjoyed gathering around the comfortable (for 8 ppl) outdoor furniture under the upper level during rain showers. There's a cute pool to dip and wade in when the sun gets hot and a hot tub! You're steps away from your own "private" beach. We enjoyed walking/ swimming/ paddle boarding/ floating to neighboring beaches. When the sun is shining the water is such a rich blue/turquoise. We wished we knew more people so we could've hosted a party on the upper terrace. Couldn't see a sunset from there, but it's spacious, great view over the water, and a bar set up. I recommend citronella candles, etc. as bugs do come with nature. Once you figure out all the light switches, outdoor lighting is gorgeous. Loved walking on the beach at night and looking back the house lit up. The feel is more private and relaxing but you do have neighbors on either side. Inside: There's a washer dryer. There's another bathroom in common area . Islands like this are on cistern systems, so the water is a bit yellow. Once you figure out all the switches the indoor lighting is a more dim/ relaxing. Indoor dining area was suitable to seat 8. There's an office desk that a couple of us work addicts utilized. There's a television available in the common area to catch the football game. Utensils in the kitchen were a bit low for 8 people but doable. Pick up a bit more toilet paper for the house on the way in as there are two rolls per room. There was wifi - a bit spotty. There are various types of electrical outlets. Neighborhood: Gated community felt safe and friendly expats about the neighborhood. Golf carts are necessary. Went to a couple restaurants and bars within the community. Was perfect for a bit of fun in a relaxing atmosphere. Property manager will put you in touch with cook, taxi driver, and golf cart rental. Otherwise, we had to research our own boat day, dining, beach exploration, car rental, NYE activities, massages, yoga, and paddleboard rental. Information on the internet left a lot to be desired, luckily we had a couple staying at a resort a few days before our stay that asked their concierge. Overall a great...
