This is a 3 unit building so volume late at night will need to be kept at a minimum because there are other guest in the building and it is and is older so the insulation between walls and floors are not the best . This is a very quiet neighborhood so late at night no loud noises, laughter or yelling outside will be permitted ( I have to keep my neighbors happy : ) Absolutely no smoking of any kind is permitted in the apartment. Basically treat my place with respect and I will do the same to you. In other words have fun in the City and when you return late at night just be mindful other people are guest in the building below you so keeping quiet late at night and early morning is important. Thanks for considering our place we are great host and the apartment is comfortable we are confident you will enjoy it! Let me know!

Rustic apartment in a lovely tree lined neighborhood close to ferry and downtown. A couple of small bars and a restaurant in easy walking distance. Comfortable bed and lots of room. Kitchen well supplied with coffee tea etc. Check in and out with Rick went smoothly, he met with us on check in. One thing we missed in review were the stairs but they were only a bother once with lugging our bags up. Great spot and would recommend. Cheers Rick

Greetings future travelers! We loved staying here for a 4 day/night getaway. We saved so much money utilizing the ferry instead of Uber. We did get a lot of walking in because it's only about a 10 minute walk to the ferry, and every place we wanted to go to once we got to the other side into the French Quarter was just another 10-15 minutes walk. (You have to walk in this city because you'll miss things if you end up just driving everywhere. Plus, we ate so much food we felt better about ourselves for having walked) You can always Uber and that ride would be no more than $10 once you got to the East bank. But walk. I'm 6 months pregnant and the walking was awesome. Our flight was schedule right in the middle of Hurricane Nate, and Rick gave us updates days before we even arrived whether he thought it was anything to worry about or if we should cancel our trip. It was very nice of him to go out of his way to do this. When the weather channel tried to scare us, Rick assured us it was all hype, and he was right. About the apartment - Rick's place is huge and immaculate... so much bigger than the pictures can portray, and minimalistic yet stylish. He provides coffee, dishes and utensils, Brita water, and a stocked up bathroom as well. There's a closet with lots of hangers, a desk, and even a vanity mirror. He has everything you would need, and more, including some snacks. Rick is super nice, accommodating, communicative, and his dog is awesome. We had the pleasure of meeting him on one of our walks. Book now!

Rick was very helpful and welcoming. The apartment was cute and comfortable. Rick's welcome basket was a nice touch. The Algiers Point neighborhood is lovely and it was fun to explore. The local bar and pizza joint were great for food and people watching. The walk to the ferry terminal was easy and the ferry dropped us right in the thick of things near Garden District and the French Quarter. We will definitely think of Rick's place the next time I visit.

This was our second time staying at Ricks. His place is so spacious and clean. He provides everything you need from fresh towels, shampoo, tour and city information to English muffins, cookies and a complimentary bottle of wine. Rick is always close by and genuinely cares about his guest. He also has great suggestions and We also got to meet his BEAUTIFUL dog named Cash. Another great experience, would definitely come back a 3rd time!

Great place to stay if you visiting New Orleans. Just a 10 minute walk to the ferry that takes you to the heart of the French quarters. The room was spacious, nice and clean, comfortable bed, it had everything you can need to be in vacation.
