Combining the rustic charm of a traditional Savoyarde village with the comfort of modern living, Le Migou is in the heart of the world's largest skiable area - the Three Valleys in the Parc Nationale de la Vanoise.

The space

The house is laid out across two floors with a stunning loft room making up the master bedroom. The views from the master bedroom are incredible. The house is right in the middle of a small Savoyard village which allows you to feel as if you're part of the village life rather than staying in a big resort full of tourists.

Guest access

There is parking directly outside the house and in several places in the village; there is a local bar and pizza restaurant which is very popular with locals and tourists alike. The three valleys has an incredible amount of activities, restaurants, shopping and all kinds of things going on which are just on your door step. There is a small outdoor space outside the house but if you're visiting in winter, the best place to be is on the slopes!

Interaction with guests

We'll always be available to reach if you're not sure what to do or how to do it. We have always provided guests with a welcome pack, containing a lot of detailed information, but we're always really happy to be available to help or give advice.

The house is in the middle of the lovely old village of st. Bon Tarentaise (about 10min drive from courchevel le praz). It is a cosy house especially after a day of skiing a really relaxing place with all the facilities you hope. A very nice hot shower and a wood stove to make it even better! Helle is a good host and makes you feel at home with all the descriptions in the information letter. She is very quick in her response. We really enjoyed our stay and Will come back! Thanks for all the service and very nice house. Best, Annieck

What a great place! We had a little rocky start because we couldn't find the chalet and then couldn't get in! However the hosts picked up their mobiles at a very late hour to help us get in which was very easy in the end. On leaving the process was very easy as well, which made leaving for the airport simple. The chalet is really well equipped and spacious. We had plenty of space to spread out and with cupboards we could settle in for our week of skiing. With every comfort of a real home - dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, toaster, a good cooker and oven we could live very comfortably. After staying in a few places in courcheval area this was by far our favourite. The bus from st Bon is infrequent for skiing, and the bus stop is a bit of a walk away, so public transport can be a bit of a pain! However a drive up to 1850 can be done in 15 minutes, and to la praz in 5 minutes where there's plenty of free parking and a bubble lift to the ski resort. Would recommend getting a rental car whilst you're there - although it can be done without easily - if you're ok to walk a bit and stick to ski bus schedules!

The Chalet is located in a very quiet village and have a great view as well. It has a large kitchen area and a comfortable seating area with a fireplace. Managed to stay 6 people comfortably in the Chalet. There is a great basement to store ski equipment. The bus stop is roughly 7-10 mins from the chalet and takes to direct to courchevel. Fantastic place to stay if you want a more relaxed skiing experience.

Probably the ideal way to visit the Courchevel area. The chalet is absolutely lovely and Helle goes out of her way to make the place feel welcoming. There's a fabulous woodstove, great restaurants nearby, and one of the best ski areas in the world up the hill. Beautiful chalet, could probably sleep 8, so if you have 3-5, it's perfectly roomy and fantastic.
