The house is perfect for two families. Katerina is very present and very helpful. There are very few tourists. The little restaurant close to the beach are very nice and affordable. The little beaches close to the house are enough for a week.

We were looking extensively for a big house (8 guests), close to a non-crowded beach with clean waters and ta taaaaaa..!!! found Katerina's one! We loved it!!! It was better than expected! Beautiful view, nice beach in walking distance, space and amenities... Moreover, Katerina is a great person who greeted us with a big smile, wine & warmth. She was always there to help us with any request :-) We strongly recommend it for families but also for couples if they want to relax and enjoy nice Greek food at the nearby tavernas. Thank you Katerina!!! We will meet again ;-)

The villa was as advertised and more for 2 families. We have enjoyed our time in Kotsikia. The village is small, and you need a vehicle to be able to see other places and beaches but that should be the point when visiting places like Evia. Our host, and in fact other members of the family were very nice and helpful whenever we needed anything. The villa is well furnished with all the necessary amenities, plenty of space and excellently positioned veranda especially when we returned from our daily journeys around 6-7 pm, making a fresh salad, drinking some ouzo and enjoying the dawn. Very nice place to enjoy your well deserved summer holiday :-)

After intensive research of vacation homes for two families we finally found this jewel on Evia island. It had everything we looked for: beautiful view, non crowded beaches at walking distance, space and amenities, with mountains and forests to alternate. What we found was a timeless fishing village with very few foreign tourists. If you are looking for a real Greek vacation, search no further. Above all we found a very welcoming and friendly host, Katerina as well as her parents, who stayed next door when they were not in Athens. Katerina greeted us with a big smile, wine, fruits & warmth. She was always eager to help us in planning our stay. We also had good conversations with her about Greece, Athens and other topics of mutual interest. The village and beach are at 5 min. walking. The village has everything you need, including a small mini-market and some passing by trucks which sell vegetables and fruit at different times of the year (beware of the larger white truck: the guy cheats and his stuff is of lesser quality). People in the village are very friendly and helpful. Four tavernas operate on the beach during summer. One is held by Michalis who was also very helpful in selling us things we needed for cooking. Bread and fish should be ordered in advance. You can also go to Agia Ana (several mini-markets) or, even better, to Mantoudi, where you can find a large supermarket and a market (on Thursdays) with excellent (and affordable) fish. At night you may walk to the other end of the village to Adonis' taverna (the mini-market is there) where they sometimes play and dance traditional Greek songs. Alternatively you can go to Agia Ana Beach (35 minutes) south of Kotiskia (avoid the coastal dirty road which is suggested by (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps), or to Limni on the other side of the island (50 minutes). Don't miss the falls of Drimona (about 30 minutes away): a nice forest with a waterfall and fresh water pond where you can even swim. Next to the falls is one of the best restaurants we found in Northern Evia. With 5 minutes driving, partially on a dirty but doable road, you can also reach another beach with a beautiful sea and sights. We even rented a sailing boat for a few hours, which Katerina helped us organize. Iannis came from Agia Ana to pick us up and visit the coast north of Kotsikia. The house is spacious and very comfortable; there are various tables on the terrace with shade to eat outside at all times of the day. we all enjoyed very much playing ping-pong. Everything was clean and we found all we needed to cook. It is never too warm as there is a light breeze coming from the sea. The view is exactly as on the picture, and is even more beautiful at night. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay in Paralia Kotsikia at Katerina's house!
