In a word, idyllic. We had a perfect stay in a dreamy cottage. Although we didn't meet our host, communication was excellent and all our requests were met. We wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

So pleased we found this lovely cottage. It is in a perfect location for exploring North Wales, with so many places within easy travelling distance. Loved the location next to the River Conwy - very peaceful, but within walking distance of Betws-y-Coed. Would recommend, and would definitely stay again if/when we return to North Wales.

This place is a gem, beautifully situated on the banks of river Conwy. My wife and I stayed here when we eloped in Wales and it was exactly what we wanted and made our wedding perfect.

Great place. Beautiful setting. Short scenic walk to Betsy past a farm and over a bridge, house was cosy and clean. Gas hob, log burner, rustic but modernised. Reccomended

We had a fabulous time at Glanrhyd Cottage. Idyllic really is the word for it. We loved the peace and calm, the sound of the river and the lovely open gardens. The cottage itself is a gem, restored to perfection. Because it was restored so sensitively it is extremely comfortable inside. (As an architect and planner we appreciate this very much). It is simply a very restful place to be and no better base for seeing Snowdonia, which is also wonderful. George was there to greet us when we arrived and he was extremely accommodating. We had a great time there and highly recommend it. We also had two small children with us and it was very suitable and safe for them.

Hi, I live in London but try to spend as much time as I can in North Wales in the mountains. I'm a fly fisherman so the river in my garden is where you'll most likely find me when I'm there. To say I love Wales is an understatement, I'm always finding new little gems around th…
