This apartment is 1 of 5 ski apartments, 4 of which sleeps 4-6, and 1 sleeps 4/5 guests, in 2 divisible sleeping areas. The first sleeping area, is a dedicated sleeping area, and has an elevated double bed (in the 4-6 bed apartments - a single in the 4-5 bed apartment), above 2 single beds (which can be pushed together to make a second double). The second sleeping/living area, 'the lounge/sleeping area' has 2 single sofa/beds which can be used either as 2 singles, or as a third double.
The dining table seats up to 6 persons.
The Apartment has an easterly aspect, and benefits from the morning sun in the Summertime. The 3m balcony is accessed via the lounge/sleeping area, with immediate views of a rocky outcrop and fir trees on the adjacent mountainside. Looking south, up the mountains, you can see part of the Arpette ski lift (which provides direct access to the Vanoise Express gondola to Les Arcs) when running, and with views of the higher mountains beyond.
There is a small but fully equipped kitchenette, with a full sized dishwasher.
Separate WC, and bathroom, with bath/shower (with bath shower screen and shower riser). Large cupboard with heater is excellent for drying wet/damp clothes and towels. Floor to ceiling large sliding glass/mirrored door.
Double glazes door and windows.
Everything in Plagne Bellecote is all very close to the apartment building, and nothing is more than 350m walk away.
The Spitting Feathers English bar (with Sports TV) is very popular with my guests and is just 10m from the building entrance. Tim the landlord serves Fantastic Fish & Chips !, The Mouflon traditional French restaurant is also 10m from the entrance. Spar food store 20m. 5 ski hire outlets the closest being 25m from entrance. Swimming pool 60m... ESF ski school and baby/kids Piou Piou just 100m. Car Parking, 50m-500m and plentiful (some 80 free spaces available if free!).
Guests booking the apartment have exclusive use of the whole apartment. Access is via a push button combination door lock. The code will be provided to you on the day of your arrival.
Interaction with guests
living locally, I am generally available to provide guests with advice or guidance/assistance during their stay. I principally ski in La Plagne, Les Arcs, and occasionally in the 3 Vallees resorts (Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens) & a few days a year in Val d'Isere and Tignes, with guests who enjoy a change of resort.
La Plagne is by far my favourite ski area, for both the skiing and the value.
I can organise transport and transfers for guests wishing to ski in any or all of the 3 Vallees resorts or in Val d'Isere and/or Tignes.
I can also arrange competitively priced airport transfers. Please feel free to enquire when booking or enquiring about the accommodation. I recommend you contact Jared who runs Secret Base Transfers out of La Plagne, with a fleet of 9, 8 passenger minibuses. Very competitive rates.
Other things to note
I have four 4-6 person apartments available, plus one 4/5 person apartment available for guests to rent in La Plagne (Plagne Bellecote) offering flexible accommodation for groups/families of 4 to 29. I also have a 6 bedroomed Ski Chalet located on the back of La Plagne (in Montagny), offering guests staying in the Chalet the opportunity to ski in all of the 3 Vallees, Paradiski and Espace Killy resorts with in excess of 1,750Km's of groomed pistes available!
I offer flexible arrival and departure days, and lengths of stays from 3 to 21+ nights, with or without airport transfers, for parties of 4 to 41 (utilising all of the available accommodation in the two locations), and with rates from just £100 for the accommodation, and £75 for the airport transfers, please get in touch if you wish to discuss your accommodation and ski trip requirements.
Re the four 4-6 apartments - 2 are adjacent on the 3rd floor and share the balcony, with the third directly above on the 4th floor, and the fourth located one floor up on the 5th floor. The one 4/5 person apartment is on the 3rd floor, just along the corridor from the 2 adjacent apartments.
All the apartments face East, and benefit from the morning sun until mid-day in the summertime.
In my opinion, each apartment is spacious for 2-3 guests, perfect for 4 and cosy for 5-6.
I expect my guests to behave in a decent, responsible and respectful manner, and particularly to respect both my and my neighbours property, and the other residents and guests staying in the apartment building and local area.
The apartment is let on a strict NO SMOKING in the apartment basis.
No noise or partying after 22.00. There are numerous bars and nightclubs in the linked resorts of Plagne Bellecote and Belle Plagne to make noise in and to enjoy the apres ski. Please return to the apartment(s) in a respectful and quiet manner.
All breakages will be deducted from your damage security deposit.
Guests should leave the apartment(s) clean and tidy, with the kitchen and bathroom washed clean. The dishwasher should be emptied, with all crockery, pans and cutlery put away dry. A tea towel is provided.
If washing up, excessive cleaning and/or dishwasher emptying is required, after you have departed from the apartment (s), a deduction will be made from your damage security deposit at a rate of £60/hour to clean up the apartment ready for the next guests.

My Family & Friends, Skiing, Paragliding, My Work (I am a Chartered Accountant running my own practice) and Hot Indian Food, and more Skiing.
Just under 10 years ago I discovered the joys of Skiing and Paragliding, and loved those activities so much so that I just had to buy myself a home right here in the Heart of the French Alps, to indulge my passions for those sports.
In the winter I now ski on these amazing mountains every day if I wish, and in the Spring & Summer soar high above them.
I love to share my home with people who share that same passion for these magnificent and wonderful mountains.
I spent 2 summers exploring the whole of the French Alps, and viewed over 100 properties until I finally found one that ticked all the boxes....'Chez Helene', located in a small friendly mountain village and just 15 mins drive to both the 3 Vallees ski domain (the Worlds largest linked ski domain) and also the Paradiski ski domain (the World's third largest ski domain). It fulfilled every wish I had for a property in the Alps. Made of wood ,with a separate self contained studio, plus 4 other bedrooms (I have 4 children and 2 grandchildren), and scope for another bedroom which I have since added, and further scope to extend and expand if I wish....With its own self contained Studio, I can be totally separate from my guests or totally involved, as they wish.
I know I have truly found my own piece of heaven here in Montagny, and I truly believe you will see it that way to.
I love my life, and love to host my winter ski guests. To watch my guests, some of whom have never skied before, experience the absolute joy of mastering their skis and conquering the slopes, is an absolute joy!
UPDATE 2015 - This July I invested in 2 ski apartments in the ski station of Plagne Bellecote, on the other side of the mountain to the Chalet, and am really excited about the coming ski season. with 8 weeks booked already. I see the studios as an extension of the Chalet, being just an hours ski or hours drive away, and some of my guests will be offered the opportunity to stay in both the Chalet and the studios, during their ski holidays, when they are free, to experience the two totally different environments.... the peace and quiet of the mountain village chalet, and the fun in resort buzz and doorstep Apres Ski when staying in the apartments.
