Cannot recommend this place highly enough, the perfect getaway from city life. The house was set in a beautiful environment, serene, private and we never felt the need to turn on the TV or connect to the web despite the availability. Days were spent roaming the grove and evenings consisted of a few horses wandering through the paddock for a feed and searching successfully for wombats by torchlight. Christine was an enormously accomodating host and we look forward to another visit!

Overall it was a disappointing stay at Cedar Farm. It is a beautiful house and surrounding, and if you want to be completely shut out from the outside world then this is a great place to go. But the lack of farm animals (it's called Cedar farm - and the advert pictures had numerous cows displayed) meant the kids were really disappointed, and the non existent or extremely weak wifi meant i was unable to work and even surf very basic web sites (I spent a lot of the weekend in the car parked outside the local general store to use their wifi). For the price we paid (over $900 a night) I would expect better than that.

Response from Christine:
Thanks for your feedback Mark. We appreciate the feedback and note your comments. We also appreciate the happy review your family wrote in our farm guest book: '“ What a lovely house! And so well stocked with toys, amenities and all the essentials thank you! The horses showed up on day 3 and made our girls’ day!”' Mark and Barbara, 3rd October 2016. We are pleased to say having listened to your feedback, that our new fast speed satellite is imminent. I am glad that you got a visit from our horses, and we trust that your kids got to see the many other cows, sheep, chickens and horses in the neighbouring farms, easily visible from the road. Best wishes Christine

Christine was very easy to deal with and was very accommodating. She was quick to respond to our last minute booking. The location was beautiful, the house was clean and fully stocked. Instructions were detailed and communication was clear. I highly recommend this location, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye. Simply stunning.

Cedar Tree Farm provides best farm-living ambiance and experience for us. Despite of its remote location, the house was lovely, occupied with enough equipments to serve a family stay.

Thank you to Christine my stay at Cedar Tree Farm was a pleasant experience. The description to the house was accurate and you will get to see horses and cows in the farm at your doorstep. I haven't met Christine in person but she is prompt in getting back to me via email and message. The house is quiet and peaceful so if you are after a relaxing family getaway this would be perfect.
