Comfortable Queen Size bed in Private Room with Tv/dvd! Short walk to JT Village. You will be in walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, stores and Bar. House Includes: Hot Tub with Jets, Backyard Fire Pit, Washer/Dryer, Full Kitchen, Wifi.

The space

This space is a little GEM in Joshua Tree because right outside your door is Downtown JT Village. You can walk to the Coffee shops, art stores, restaurants, and Bars. Plus, it's fun to just hang out in the back yard and enjoy the beautiful JT weather, very nice and relaxing desert nights! Did we mention there is an Amazing Hot Tub with awesome working Jets, Perfect for after a rock climb or to relax with some wine. Also in the backyard is an Outdoor Bed and a hammock, (you can see it in the photos), both are comfortable to lay out in during the day or warm starry nights. Last but not least is a Fire pit. I love having bon fires in JT, it's awesome, you are welcome to use the bon fire pit and sit around and enjoy the fire.

Guest access

As a guest of this property you will have full access to all the house has to offer. In the Garage there is a Washer and Dryer which you can use, the Kitchen is fully equipped to make any meals you'd like to prepare. The Kitchen also comes with a Coffee Maker, High Powered Blender, Juicer, Microwave, and Toaster. In the Backyard you will have access to a Hammock, Hot Tub, Outdoor bed, and Fire Pit. I recommend being outdoors in Joshua Tree, go hiking, take a walk around the block, take some photos. Desert wild life is everywhere.

Interaction with guests

I'll be around if you need me but you will have a key to the house so you can do as you please.

Other things to note

The Salon Bar and Crossroads Cafe have great breakfast. The Mexican burrito shop is open 24 hours a day and you can walk to it from the house. Also JT Coffee Company and Pie for the People are in walking distance and have a outdoor back lounge area that you can relax in. Next to that is a Yoga studio, everyday there are Yoga classes you can take for $10 to $12 per class. Everything is really close by the house!

Room was big and great. House was nice and quiet, had the best solid sleep I’ve had in a while! So close to the park! I originally planned on camping but didn’t have my gear, But I was so close it felt like I was staying in the park anyway.

Frank is a great host, very friendly and easy to talk to. His place is clean and has everything you would want/need. It's in a safe area just outside of the national park and a very quick walk to great resturaunts.

I unfortunately never made it to Frank’s place because of a last minute change of plans. But the few messages we exchanged were courteous and efficient! His apparent is also ideally located if you’re climbing around Indian Cove!

For those wanting to visit Joshua Tree, Frank’s place is perfect. Entrance to Joshua Tree was a 10 min drive. The room was clean and the linens smelled freshly washed. Parking in front of the house was helpful. Frank himself was responsive, helpful, and down to earth guy.

Great spot! The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Actually everything was very clean and Frank has a very cool setup at the house! Frank is friendly and easy to communicate with. Wish we could've hung out here longer! :)

This listing definitely has a hostel like vibe. Frank is an interesting and eclectic guy who greeted us upon arriving, very nice to deal with. Our only issue was the accuracy of the photos posted online. The back yard and outdoor area seemed like a bonus when booking but in person it definitely was not the relaxing and serene ambience we were hoping. The kitchen also looks a bit more put together on the pictures posted. Overall the room was clean and just what we needed for a one night stay but I wouldn’t rely too much on the other amenities detailed.

Hi, how's it going! I'm excited to be on airbnb and hosting amazing people from all over the world. I'm from California and moved to Joshua Tree about a year ago and absolutely love it. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people on my free time. I've used Airbnb to travel around Europe as well as other places in Southern California and it works extremely well. I have a nice peaceful house in Joshua Tree, CA. It's very close to JT Village so you can easily walk around and check out all the shops, restaurants, stores, and of coarse, The Salon Bar. It's a very quiet neighborhood and people in JT are all very nice people. When you book a room I will show you around the house, show you how to use the Hot Tub, and give you the key. Then you are on your own.

I'm a big music guy, I love listening to good music like Classic Rock tunes, so you might find me somewhere around the house listening the Bob Dylan or Jimi Hendrix. I like to go out sometimes and get a drink at the bar so I might be up for that if you go.

I'm also a big sports fan, I played basketball all my life and when I was a kid wanted to make the NBA, as ridiculous as that sounds I actually thought I had a shot when I was younger. I enjoy American football Sundays and going to a friends house and watching the games. Also, Vegas Baby! There's nothing like being at the MGM drinking a cocktail watching some sports. I also enjoy doing anything that's fun, bike riding, surfing, snowboarding, riding dirt bikes. I grew up in Southern California so was exposed to these activities as a child.

My favorite travel destinations would be Croatia for sure, freaking beautiful over there. Next I would travel to the beautiful land of Germany, everything there runs like clock work, and they have great beer, or so I've heard. After that would be Tai land and India and then a quick stop to Brazil for the beautiful people.

Other than that I'm really laid back and relaxed. I'm a post production expert and am on the computer doing graphics and websites most of the time, so if you have any post production questions, let me know.

That's all I got for now, hope you enjoyed the quick read, look forward to hosting you, or if I'm traveling, look forward to staying at your place. See you soon, thanks!
