The space

4 bedrooms in the main house, of which 2 with in suite bathrooms and 2 sharing a private bathroom; a separate pavilion with bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. Suitable for up to 11 guests + 2 children. Large gardens, pergolas, swimming pool 6x12 m.

The house belonged to the Florentine families of Strozzi and Cavalcanti in 16th century. It was restored preserving the structure from the Renaissance, with its high ceilings and stone capitals. Contemporary comfort has been added, providing all bedrooms with private bathrooms. Interiors are decorated with antique and design contemporary furniture.

It is a holiday home where a large family can be together; friends can feel part of the family, while enjoying privacy in a fully equipped, separate pavilion. Dinners are hosted in the main dining room. The large kitchen is a cozy place to cook and dine together: a special fireplace is built in the kitchen to cook 'Fiorentine' steaks and barbecue. Pergolas provide a cool shelter in the day, a fresh breeze at sunset delights summer meals in the nature. The pool is surrounded by olive trees, lavender and roses: a corner of heaven to relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping. The barnyard is a playground or a dance floor for private parties.ù

Sightseeing & Art - Contemporary art lovers can enjoy private views at some of the best Land's Art collections in Italy: Castello di Ama in Gaiole, Fattoria di Celle in Pistoia, La Marrana at Montemarcello. The professionals of Pecci Museum in Prato and La Continua gallery in San Giminiano welcome our guests upon appointment. Art exhibitions, music festivals, sagas and culinary events in Tuscany can be followed with privileged access and guided tours thanks to our collaboration with Visit Art, the leading art magazine for Florence and Tuscany. Altipertoli is ideally located close to Florence, within one hour from Siena, Pisa, Lucca: it is a perfect base to explore the heritage and the contemporary art sites of Tuscany.

Wine & Cuisine - Special programs are arranged by the owner for guests who are keen to taste and learn the secrets of Tuscan cuisine and wine making. World famous vineyards and cellars of Antinori and Guicciardini are nearby, as well as one of the best sheep cheese producers: Corzano Paterno. In partnership with a selection of restaurants in the area we organize discovery circuits to explore the different facets of the culinary tradition of the region.

Fashion, Crafts & Antiques Shopping - The area is a shoppers' paradise. You will be directed to shop for fashion and luxury accessories in downtown Florence or in the outlets of Valdarno, where all the Italian and French luxury brands can be purchased at discount prices. If you are passionate by art or antiques you can choose from world class contemporary art galleries to top antique dealers in Florence and Lucca, or you can stroll through the streets of Arezzo for the Antique Market once a month. The choice is endless and we are happy to help our guests to find what suits their interests or to discover new jewels.
