We decided to go for Jack & Audreys accommodation because of the good reviews, all of them were possitive, and guess what, here's another one:) Such kind people who make you feel at home from the first moment. Very helpfull, kind and Audrey makes a mean Irish breakfast:) The rooms are very neat, tidy and look good! We'll certainly be coming back, for both Dublin as a city and the Avoca House. Cheers!

Jack and Audrey's house is a warm and lovely place in a quiet but central area. The room was perfect for us three, it was comfortable and very clean and provided everything we needed. The two are very friendly and helpful hosts. Audrey's irish breakfast was awesome, it will keep you full for the rest of the day - fortunately there are lots of possibilities in Dublin to walk the breakfast off :-) We have found a new home in Dublin. Highly recommended.

Avoca House was our home for about 3 days, and boy did it feel like home! Jack & Audrey are warm, helpful and funny (I don't mean odd, I really mean they have a lovely sense of humour). The house itself is everything you'd want - pretty, quaint, clean, well lit, well ventilated and sufficiently stocked with all the essential bath and kitchen supplies. The place is easy to reach from the airport and the room lived up to the website description 100%. There's a backyard-cum-patio which is a great setting for kicking back and having a conversation or a game of chess. Breakfast is typically Irish and delicious, and the dining room provides a nice opportunity to meet other guests and travelers. I must make a specific mention of how the hosts saved the day for us. Jack took out time to personally drive us to the wholesalers to buy some wonderful bottles of whiskey. When our cards wouldn't work, he swiped his and said we could pay him later. On the morning of our flight, it hit us that our airline only allowed 100ml bottles of liquids in our cabin baggage. Purchasing check-in baggage would have cost more than what we paid for the booze. J & A told us not to worry, asked us to leave the receipts and the bottles behind and said they'd take care of it. Needless to spell out, but I'll do it anyway - I highly recommend you pick J & A as your hosts if you're planning a trip to Dublin. I know I will.

Jack and Audrey were awesome hosts! They gave me tips for everything, the room was cute & super-clean and (especially important, since I was there for business) quiet and peaceful at all times! Plus, breakfast! I couldn't be more satisfied.

I am a retired lecturer of Anatomy and Physiology. I love meeting people and myself and my wife Audrey go out of our way to make your visit memorable. We've ran a successful Guest House for over 15 years, and continue to open up our home to new people because we enjoy it so much. We'd be happy to host you and make your stay in Ireland the best it could be.
