A beautifully-remodeled craftsman in charming South Park, our home is just three blocks from Balboa Park, steps from hip restaurants and bars, a 10-minute drive to the beach on Coronado island, and a 5-minute drive to North Park or downtown.

The space

The house has a remodeled kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a huge master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with double-shower, a sunroom porch, large dining room and living room, and a spacious yard with dining and lounge area.

The first three bedrooms are in the main house and the fourth bedroom is in a separate structure just off the house:

Master: queen bed, built-in TV, and en-suite bathroom
Second Bedroom: queen bed
Third Bedroom: twin bed and available twin air mattress if needed (picture shows crib, but that has been replaced with a comfy twin bed!)
Fourth Bedroom: full/double bed

There is ample driveway and street parking.

Guest access

Guests can access the entire home and yard, except a storage garage.

Interaction with guests

We, or a member of our family, will always be just a quick phone call away to come to the house or help with any questions or concerns.

Other things to note

We have a dog who lives in the house when we are there. He is non-shedding and hypo-allergenic, and of course we use separate linens and towels, etc., for our AirBnB guests, but this might not be the house for you if you have a very strong dog allergy.

if you need something not far from downtown with a nice backyard area and nice breeze in the evening this is your place. we stayed with my team for Comic-Con and it was great. nice and quite, 7 mins from downtown with Lyft and some nice restaurants and deli in the area if you want to stay in the area. really close to the park as well if you want to take a walk and see the sunset!

Myself and 5 friends came down last week to enjoy San Diego. We wanted a home with plenty of space for us all to spread out, that was close enough to the downtown area, Balboa park, etc. Ryan's place was just that! The kitchen was the best spot in the house, while the large backyard seating area wasn't far off. I would highly recommend this home for a group of friends or a family needed multiple rooms. Super cute decor, cozy beds. We LOVED our time.

Ryan was a great host! We traveled with four adults and my almost 1.5 year old. The house could not have been more perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and centrally located. Ryan left two pages of suggestions, recommendations and ideas. He also made sure anything and everything I needed for my son was out and ready to use (including a beach tent and beach toys)! Traveling with kids is never easy, but he made it as stress free as possible! Thanks Ryan!

Our family (3 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Ryan's house for a week. He did a great job of making us feel at home and getting us settled in, including stopping by and addressing a minor electrical issue we were having when we first arrived. The set up and layout were great for little kids. The back yard/patio area was a nice place for them to play or for us to have a drink. Mostly, we were out and about, and the house was well-located for accessing all of the things one would want to do on a family trip to San Diego. And we were able to walk down the street to get to restaurants, coffee shops, Target Express, etc.

Ryan and Lisa's home was perfectly located next to shops and restaurants. About a 10-15 min ride to downtown. Very clean with a spacious kitchen and adorable area outside if you have a group and want to have dinner or drinks. Neighborhood is quiet and lots of the homes are older and have great character. We ate at Del Sur, a mexican restaurant close by that was fantastic and Luigi's Pizzeria that was close by and awesome. Grant's is a little coffee/bakery in walking distance from the house that we went to in the mornings. Close to North Park for awesome shopping, breweries etc. Recommend!

Ryan was very easy to work with. The whole checkin process was stress free. The house was a beautiful craftsman home the patio was great, with an awesome kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet, walking distance to plenty of restaurants and cafes. Very close to Balboa park and other attractions. We had a baby with us and having the baby items avaliable in the house was very useful. Would recommend to families traveling with young children, everyone can enjoy the space.

A great home and communicative host. Home was ready for us upon arrival and the layout was convenient. If you plan on utilizing the separate bedroom off the house be warned it isn't air conditioned. The area is great with some wonderful restaurants close by. Great for quick access to downtown.
