Peaceful and tranquil , with a beachy feel, our apartment is a home away from home. With all the comforts you can relax immediately. We are close to the city (15 mins) and the coast (15 mins) and in very close proximity to Flinders University and Medical Centre. (7 mins).

The space

We have a self-contained apartment attached to our house with a modern kitchen, a ensuite bedroom (double) a dining room and lounge (which can sleep 2). We are situated 6 mins from Flinders University and hospital, 15 mins from the city or coast and 20 mins to vineyards at Mclaren Vale.

The apartment is fantastic because you can have your own space but still have our family around to help you out with info on what to see and where to go in Adelaide. We are in the Mitcham area where there isn't much accommodation and we have 2 separate beds to sleep 4. One queen bed and 1 sofa beds.

You'll have your own space in the apartment and a small outside area to use with your own entrance.

If you are lucky one of the local Koalas may put in an appearance.

We will be happy to help you out with tips on exploring Adelaide

Our neighbourhood is a typical Australian suburb with a great shopping centre nearby and with close proximity to the city and the beach. Its situated slightly south of the city so closer to McLaren Vale, where world class vineyards are and some famous beaches.

We have a bus stop at the end of the street (5 mins walk) that will take you into the city. You'll probably need a car to get around and its best to hire one from the airport on arrival.

We will try to organise a carpark but its not guaranteed but we do have a lock up garage for bikes if required.

Guest access

Although you are fully self contained and have your own entrance we can easily leave you access to the laundry and we also have a lock up garage if required for bikes.

Interaction with guests

We will be readily available for any info you need during your stay but will also respect your privacy

Other things to note

We do have a puppy, a cat and a native lizard in the main house. The apartment is pet free but guests often borrow them

We stayed at Leanne's place for 2 weeks and very much enjoyed it. It's perfect size for two, bright rooms and well appointed. Leanne was most helpful - they helped us get the grill going which is sort of a Ozie tradition and it has a small but nice little outside seating area. Location is good with good groceries etc near by. It is about 25 min into town by car, 20 min to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. The appartment is attached to the house but it feels relatively private and you have your own entrance, which we used. Plusses: Nice room and bright Nice neighborhood and wooded area Great host Nicely appointed apartment including art from Leanne own studio separate entrance Nice running trail across the train tracks - very steep hills so good if you like running hills. Minuses: the seating area outside is small - the house backs up on a hill and you are sort of between the house and the hill. It's covered with trees which is very nice in the hot summer and we quite enjoyed eating outside but don't expect a large patio the house is relatively close to the train tracks - local train is hardly noticable but there are freight trains and they can be fairly loud - there's not many. A few times a day and we did not mind but if that would bother you, you should be aware.

We enjoyed the comfortable home away from home atmosphere for this staycation. Was nice to be close-ish to city, hills, beach, shops, café.

Great place to stay, lovely hosts. Really appreciated all the supplies provided so we could wake up to breakfast without having to go anywhere. Very spacious and had a really "homely" feel. Will definitely try to book here again next time we're in Adelaide.

Leanne and her family were very welcoming when I arrived and accommodating during my two week stay. The apartment was wonderful. Very tastefully decorated, clean and super comfortable. Felt like a home away from home. Leanne had stocked the apartment with milk, OJ, eggs, bread all the basics to get started. Wifi was great (important when travelling for work) and I slept like a log every night. Neighborhood is lovely and quiet (there is a train line nearby but barely noticeable ) but still feels very central and close to city, Adelaide Hills and surrounds. Thanks for a great stay Leanne! And cuddles to Pablo the cat 3

This was perfect accommodation for us during our stay in Adelaide. A bonus were the many jogging trails on the other side of the railroad crossing. It is quiet, well appointed and easily accessible to Adelaide CBD.
