Just as it was in the original building, it has a Canarian wooden roofed terrace in the interior patio, which leads onto the rooms and gives the house a special charm.

The house is made up of a double bedroom, a living room, kitchen with dining room and a bathroom. Outside there is a terrace, a barbecue and a swimming pool with a solarium from where the scenery of the Barranco de Tirajana can be seen.

First of all we have to admit that the region of Santa Lucia is regarded as the hottest part of the island. Unfortunately, during first two days air conditioning in our cottage did not help to survive the scorching heat as it appeared that ALL filters we completely blocked by dust. I cleaned them thoroughly by myself and finally AC started working properly. But this is not my task to repair the AC facilities during the holidays! When staying in the cottage GC 0261, we felt very often an unpleasant smell. It looked like that the sewage system in the cottage was leaking or this odour was coming from surrounding area (above the cottage was a board: Banios - it means the public WC !). The smell was sometimes so disgusting that we could not stay outside the cottage. Forget about romantic evening on the terrace! However, the worst thing was different: nobody informed us that we have to carry heavy luggages down to the cottage ca 100 m on the VERY steep path spotted with animal droppings and (what was even worse) have to drag our suitcases up to the place where the car was parking. We are 63 and 62, but relatively fit and in a good condition, so we could manage but for other people not expecting such a challenge this kind of situation would be a real nightmare! Several bulbs were out of order and we had to swop a few of them to get enough of light e.g. in the bathroom. The smell of old mattresses in the sitting room was also a little bit disgusting, so we did not use it at all. The table in the kitchen nearly collapsed because it was in such a bad condition. Summarizing, it is a shame to offer such an accommodation for a such an excessive price. We were rather disappointed with our stay as we expected a place properly prepared for the guests and with the ability to park the car nearby. When we arrive to Montana hamlet we were mistakenly directed to another cottage i.e. GC 0260, where we saw how such a place should be suitable prepared for the guests and where the quality of accommodation was really good.
