Our house sits 300 feet from a white sand beach in quiet, picturesque Cape May Point. The house has an open floor plan and spacious outdoor decks. With it's three bedrooms, it's a special place for families, couples, or bird watchers to escape.

The space

* Please note - During the summer rental months, which are always in high-demand, starting mid June and lasting through mid September, we rent the space for 7 days at a time, from Saturday to Saturday, so families can enjoy a full week of vacation. Thank you and we hope to hear from you!

Open air and light flood into the second floor of this Cape May treasure. Glad Tidings sits in the heart of Cape May Point, just two blocks away from the lighthouse and the Cape May Point State Park and Bird Observatory. Guided walking tours are held in the internationally known bird sanctuary with seasonal bird and monarch butterfly migrations from early Spring into the Fall.

The house is also close to Sunset Beach with it's lovely sunsets and Cape May diamonds.

For larger groups, it is possible to rent the second floor as well. Please send us a message!

We were looking for a quiet place by the beach but with a number of things to do in case of bad weather and a change of pace and got all that (plus a week of great weather) at this location!

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment...a cozy and comfortable place with a lovely deck. The location is fantastic, a block from a peaceful beach and a block from the lighthouse and the wetlands. Would recommend this place to other visitors to Cape May looking for a quiet and pleasant place to stay, but would only note to be sure to closely read instructions that Ron sends along with the keys, as we overlooked the note to bring our own towels and linens.

I'm a filmmaker. I like to be in the company of great people, great laughs, and great music. I'm completing my first feature length documentary and I'm super excited to share it with the world. The film is about my mother, her life and struggle with ALS. I hope it will be an inspiring film for all people diagnosed with terminal illnesses. You can check out the trailer at:

I strive to be a person of great integrity, whom people can count on when they're in unfamiliar territory. We're all in this together.

I love the beach, especially Cape May Point. I like Wes Anderson Films, and thai food :) And I love music - anything talented, but particularly I enjoy Jamie Cullum.

I travel back and forth between Philadelphia and Los Angeles, and whenever possible to will drive down to Cape May Point to enjoy the ocean breeze. I have been coming to Cape May since I was a young boy, and it holds a special place in my heart.
