Mooihoek is an animal lover's dream! My boyfriend and I brought our 12 year old niece here to stay after a trip to Pilanesberg and Sun City and we absolutely loved it. We did horse riding at sunrise with Casper and Boris and it was so stunning!!! The horses were beautiful and the scenery was very picturesque with the sun coming up from behind the mountains. The boys even made us muffins and we had milk fresh from the goats for our coffee! This stay was an experience to remember and Bennet and Chantalle are wonderful hosts. Can't wait to come back again!

Bennet and family are lovely welcoming hosts. The apartment was clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Casper and Borris took us on an amazing horse back ride around their farm pointing out many interesting things along the way. About 40 min drive from Pillanesberg and. Sun City. Mooihoekie is indeed a ‘Mooi hoekie’ Thank you for hosting us.

The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The outside area was not as comfortable as we had hoped and there was no shade for us to sit and relax. We had a rainstorm both nights and had to move our dinner inside the cottage. Unfortunately there is no table or seating inside that made this a little difficult and we had to eat on our beds. Chantalle and Bennet are incredibly friendly and very helpful in organising our day plans, thank you. The place has a lot of animals - 8 cats and about 10 dogs, so it really is advisable to book elsewhere if you are allergic or not up to so many animals. We however, enjoyed the kittens and dogs.

Our weekend stay was lovely, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place. It was a great base to head to Pilanesberg National Park for a day trip. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and Chantalle was quick to respond to any request we had. As stated by others, check the location on maps to make sure to find the way, and be prepared to meet lively dogs and cats.
