Boats are in my blood with eight sea captains in my family history. An avid sailor I have owned 14 boats and cruised Mexico's Sea of Cortez with my wife Peg, and our two boys. Now that the kids are grown, we acquired the River Island Marina and set out to make it a comfortable, family friendly, and trouble free experience for our members and guests.
After backpacking through Europe and camping in many national and state parks, we saw an opportunity to create a different nature experience that is private and secluded yet convenient to all St. Louis has to offer.
