We had such a lovely stay with Stephen and Katy. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed so comfy. Breakfast was a high point, with Whitby kippers and fresh fruit salad not out of a tin, which (having stayed at a fair few B&Bs in the area) is a rarity! Manning Tree will be top of our list when we visit the area again.

Had a nice evening in the lovely while walking the Yorkshire coast and spent our night in Robin Hoods Bay at the Manning Tree. The room was immaculately clean, plenty of space and everything you'd expect provided. Our hosts were very welcoming and full of tips for eating and drinking in the bay, and the cooked breakfast was substantial and set us up for the day ahead. It's also worth noting that if you are walking / cycling the Cinder Trail the trail brings you straight past the BnB, making it a very convenient stop. I really couldn't fault the Manning Tree and would gladly stay again, Robin Hoods Bay is truly breathtaking and an absolute gem of a place to visit.
